    Disney+ greenish tone on newest Dr Who episode

    The most recent episode of Dr Who had a Greenish tone to the video when downloaded. Tried both yesterday and today. The Video looks just fine when streaming.
    I have tried other videos from both Disney+ (including other episode of Dr Who) and other websites and they work just fine. It is just this one video.
    Download settings are my usual
    h.265
    1920x1080 - 4216 kbps
    EAC3 Audio (english)

    I am using Streamfab 6.2.3.5

    It's because you downloaded a Dolby Vision episode and your set up can't handle it.

      the file plays the same way on my computer and the same way from the separate media server to both a computer and a roku using EMBY.
      Downloading using the same settings on last weeks episode and others play just fine.

          Yes, while we're on the subject.

          1. What happens if I play a file with Dolby Vision on a Samsung TV that doesn't support Dolby Vision? Will I get a downgrade to normal HDR10 or a green screen?

          2. Can you combine HDR10, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, etc., into one file when downloading?
          NEVER use the update function within Streamfab. Always download the offline file!

            you aren't making anything clear. This is the ONLY file that is like that while downloading with the EXACT same settings from the EXACT same site.
            It is just this one episode doing that.

              I can only go off what you literally say. You've provided NO screenshot, nor specification of what you actually downloaded by way of medatada parsing from tools like mediainfo.

              Symptom: greenish tint; cause: DoVi stream on a non-compatible setup.

              You claim it isn't a DoVi stream, post a screenshot and metadata

                I can't test it at Disney

                But for example I get the latest Andor.s02e07-e09 from D+
                in H265 HDR10 even if I selected H265 SDR - see here

                So I think it's the same issue with Dolby Vision instead SDR for you

                I can't say if it's an D+ or SF issue without your StreamFab.log

                  Don't have a Sammy TV, so can't say specifically, but if the stream is profile 8.1 compat, possibly, if it's just plain DoVi, would either be tinted or, if the software was programmed properly, you'd get a compatibility error

                  You can only download one video stream at a time with SF...

                    OK, issue confirmed

                    Selection SDR

                    Result DoVi

                    Problem: SF show bitrates for H265 SDR + DoVi

                    For SDR you need to select the smaller bitrate
                    1920x1080 - 4216 kbps => Dolby Vision (1st try)
                    1920x1080 - 4087 kbps => SDR

                    edit: It's looks like "selfhealing" with second attempt
                    4216 it's now SDR

                    Ergo: If you see DoVi in Downloading, cancel, remove and analyze again .. (works for me)
