    StreamFab for Windows 6237 fix?

So the only note for 6237 was it fixed crashing on some systems. Do we know what systems specifically?
Yes, I will probably install it, but I am sometimes leery about updating when there is nothing specific I need updated, because it may have broken other things.

SF does crash on my system every time it is starts, until I set the shortcut set to run as administrator. It gives a Visual C runtime error (or no permission to run it or something), then hangs, and closes after you click the SF window. I know users out there keep multiple versions installed in different folders, and simply click the exe and run it. For me that is no longer an option unless I of course run as admin.

This problem never existed for me until I was forced to do a fresh install. So what broke?

I have no information about which system crashed with 6236 ..
.. and don't have seen any post about this problem in the forum

I have the latest visual C, yes.
If I run SF without Admin privileges, I get a error to the effect that a program tried running Visual C without the right permissions. I cannot screenshot or copy paste the error. All I can do is hit OK, then when I click anywhere in the SF window it closes.
