I have first to say my apologies, this may be a bit off-topic, but it seems they are wanting to do it via hardware.

Sadly, many sites I visit want to go to hardware devices because of password hacking.
So I looked, and it's very expensive, and the place(s) that sell the hardware devices say it's best to buy 2 because if one were to break or get lost, you have another.
The downside is I did not read or investigate fully because of the price, but I did use a bit of thought process and said to myself, what if you do even buy 2 and both either break or get lost.
You are in the same place as if you only buy one, and it breaks or gets lost, you will no longer be able to access the sites that switched over to hardware access to eliminate passwords.
So you can possibly be completely locked out of most sites with no way to access them if you lose the devices or they break.
Sadly, this looks like the way things are going, and more and more sites are pushing for hardware device access.

Then the horror stories will start, as you know, many people will either lose or break the devices, and NO one can then access their bank and other sites that are pushing for this change.

And I do very much support other means or places that don't care if you're 21 and over and want to access things, or even access your own bank's websites
