After adding the H264 and H265 options for Max,
it is no longer possible to change H265 offer
So VIP setting H265 SDR and DV is obsolete - 6239 to compare:




But after a single test the (video) result is the same:

Pretty amazing, huh? jpp72 and I were told, more than a year ago now, that all the modules would soon all look and act like Amazon. At the time, we were called Influencers. We thought that we were supposed to influence DVDFab to come up with ideas to make things better for their customers. Little did we realize at the time that our jobs were to influence the customers to believe all their BS.

Here in the US I'm also seeing changes with 6.2.4.0. Sadly, they're all bad for me, so I had to revert to an earlier version (currently 6.2.3.8 - haven't tested 6.2.3.9 yet).

With the TV show Duster, it is impossible to download H265 in any format other than Dolby Vision, regardless of what is selected in settings - no SDR, no HDR10 compatible DV. Additionally, the audio for Duster now defaults to Spanish, and it reverts back to Spanish if the video options are changed. For clarification I have all my settings set to English (not UI Defaults, but English specifically). I've also noticed that the client now defaults to AAC, which is not a big deal, but it would be nice if there was a selection in settings - especially since something that trivial should take less than 3 minutes to code perfectly bug free - which seems to be far too much to ask.

I didn't realize I had downloaded DV files until I tried to play one. That's when I went back and started testing. The only way to get HDR10 was to downgrade to a previous version of StreamFab. I tried episodes 3 and 4.

However, as stated, I'm only aware of this happening with Duster at the moment - I was able to download Spaceballs with 6.2.4.0 and it was HDR10.

Is there a place to download previous versions? They seem to delete the posts with the download links for Windows, but not for Mac for some reason. I even tried paying $10, but that didn't give me what I needed. Lesson learned for sure to always keep the offline files for the future.

Thanks, apparently I bought the DVDFab and not StreamFab extended service. Requested a refund for the wrong product.

I am the one that deletes the previous update each week for Windows. Using that link would be useless to you because it always refers back to the latest update. Users got confused and started bitching when they tried to get the prior update and always got the newest. I would do the same for the Mac if some staffer didn't lock me out of all other forums but the StreamFab for Windows one. One thing that I also do is move the StreamFab for Mac update announcements over to the StreamFab for Mac forum. Every 2 weeks or so, some staffer places the Mac update announcement in the StreamFab for Windows forum and not the StreamFab for Mac forum. So, I do it. Unfortunately because I'm locked out of reading that forum, I had no idea whether it made it there or not. Thank you for confirming that the announcements are making it there. Maybe some staffer will wise-up and remove the old Mac update announcements, as I'm incapable of doing so.

With every Mac update, I think the team isn't able to post it in the right forum. Then I hope they've finally learned and done it right. But the next time, it all starts again... they'll probably never get it...

Your Country, Selection, Settings and SF version are unknown ..
.. so it's complete useless for me to test anything
Name the requested infos or better:

Close SF, rename the StreamFab.log
start SF, try once and after fails close SF
and attach your new StreamFab.log to your post

btw: I think your problem has nothing todo, with "Unlisted SF 6240 changes" ..

hi team , with 6240 i have a problem which max downloader can not give me 1920x1080 high@4.1 profile, instead, i got 1440x1080 high@4.0 profile
is this change intended or by mistake ? thanks !
