Just started to have this problem a week ago where all downloads started to fail. Reviewing the log, it's showing fail code 702. Searched the forum and found a few tips to try, making sure the video format was not set to MKV ToolNix, make sure you are running the latest version etc.. I also verified that my windows 10 PC was updated and tried downloading with firewall and antivirus off. All attempts ended with the same result with a failed download. Reaching out to see if there is something simple to try to get this working. I did try with a window 11 laptop and everything works as designed. Attached is a log file of the most recent failed download. Appreciate everyone's help with this.

Because you didn't include the entire StreamFab.log, we are missing some information that might help to figure it out.
Please delete or rename your current StreamFab.log. Run ONE download that you are having problems with. When done, attach the new StreamFab.log to your post here using the "Upload Attachments" button. Do not post the log text within the message. Do not edit this new StreamFab.log in any way, including removing any line(s). Do not send the entire log directory. Do not send any other file but StreamFab.log. If you follow these instructions, there is no need to compress the file using ZIP, RAR, or any other compressor program.
I just did a test using what information was in the log, and I was able to download the video with zero problem. The information missing is whether you have a setting for subtitle language. That is important since the only Critical error in the log was -
2025:06:06-15:08:07 0x000018a0 [Info]: "[DownloadControlAmazon]" Selected SubtitleStream emtpy.
2025:06:06-15:08:07 0x000018a0 [Critical]: "[DownloadControlAmazon]" SelectSubtitleStream failed
Being that you chose to use MP4, that means that SF used MP4Box for remuxing. Unfortunately, there is a bug in MP4Box that gives off a 702 error when used for remuxing. Switch to MKV and you should be ok.

Your log is incomplete - but it looks fine until Remux 2% - then failed
I tried with your settings
and have the exact same dl video + audio filesize - and my remuxing (also mp4 with ffmpeg) works fine
Can you close SF, rename StreamFab.log, try again
and post your new (full) StreamFab.log ?

The good news is that the log is now OK
The bad news is that I can't detect the cause of your 702 error
Apart from the country, Win language and registered Services, my log
(with error-free DL, also same Win10) is (almost*) identical up to:
Code:[CefMedia] RemuxMultiAudioSrtMetadataUtil CreateProcess ret :1\n - your following line is - [CefMedia] RemuxMultiAudioSrtMetadataUtil BROKEN_PIPE exit.
=> So the big question is, why doesn't ffmpeg do what it's supposed to and does for me?
almost* - The only Difference is your 2nd GPU:
GPU: name, Microsoft Remote Display Adapter
But should have no influence with H264 (?)
The only thing I can think of at the moment is guessing:
The file size of ffmpeg.exe in the SF dir is identical to your Win11 (148.247.248) ?
Have you tried with mkv(mkvtoolnix) for test only? - Other provider also affected?
Have you tried to start SF as admin? - Tried with uninstall + reinstall ?
Any Virus or Malware Detection "a week ago" - or any other known changes?
btw: "SelectSubtitleStream failed" is the same for me, so no cause for error

I was able to create the exact error. The key seems to be,
2025:06:06-15:08:07 0x000018a0 [Info]: "[DownloadControlAmazon]" Selected SubtitleStream emtpy.
2025:06:06-15:08:07 0x000018a0 [Critical]: "[DownloadControlAmazon]" SelectSubtitleStream failed
as I stated before.
And that is because in Settings the following setting is set...
2025:06:07-08:47:47 0x00003e74 [Info]: [DRM Settings]: PreSelect Subtitle Language: QList()
which means it is set to None. That was the information I was missing. I had tried various languages and the download worked every time. I only got...
2025:06:07-08:54:25 0x00003e74 [Info]: CefControl::slotShowRemuxProgress "EDownloadType_Remuxing 100 / %2 "
2025:06:07-08:54:25 0x00003e74 [Info]: BatchDownloadManager::slot_setRecordResult " record result, id : B0DVH6RF6H, type : 3"
2025:06:07-08:54:25 0x00003e74 [Info]: [Download Check]: /************************************************** **************************/
2025:06:07-08:54:25 0x00003e74 [Info]: [Download Check]: download result: "failed"
2025:06:07-08:54:25 0x00003e74 [Info]: [Download Check]: fail code: 702

when I used None in Settings for VIP Pre-select Subtitle Language along with all the other settings Bill2 uses (MP4, 720p, EAC3, etc.)
Germania, do you have None for Pre-select Subtitle Language? Or is the problem not in Germany?
As far as US Amazon and Bill2, he should be able to fix the 702 error (temporarily) by changing the setting from None to "Same as UI language", English, or any other language.
It appears that I was wrong in what I wrote about which program is used to remux MP4 files. MP4Box is known to cause 702 errors sometimes, but the logs show that FFmpeg is being used.
So, the big question is what, along with the None setting, is causing the 702 error. I normally use None all the time because I'm a USA-located English-speaker who rarely needs subtitles. But I don't use most of the other setting that Bill2 uses. Wilson.Wang, the developer needs to figure out why the None setting and some other factor is causing 702 errors while remuxing with FFmpeg (possibly only when the "Video Format" is set to MP4.)

and yes: I've no subs in Pre-Selection and have the same info in my log:
Code:[Info]: "[DownloadControlAmazon]" Selected SubtitleStream emtpy. [Critical]: "[DownloadControlAmazon]" SelectSubtitleStream failed

I tested in USA (ep1 is free) - see pic with amazon.com in post #3
So I'll try it again later with pre-selected subs (after my weekend shopping)

Code:[DRM Settings]: Subtitle Format: "Remux Into File" [DRM Settings]: PreSelect Audio Language: QList("UI") | UI=ENU
After that I set PreSelect Subtitle Language to Same as UI (ENU)
so sub "English CC" is auto-selected and my result is still error-freeAttached Files

The only difference I can see is that Bill2 has the Amazon Region set to Auto, and so I set it to the same. We are both in the US. You, being in Germany, have the region set to "US (amazon.com)". That shouldn't make any difference, but who knows?
I'll get back to you.

Finally had some free time to try the different settings, Pre-Select Language set and None set. All resulted in the same failed result. I also did a fresh reinstall of this software and tried again with no luck. Not sure what changed as this software was working fine and just stopped. Also tried Netflix, Paramount, Disney+ and all resulted with the same 702 error. I'm with Cats4U and just want to give up for now... Hopeful the developers Wilson.Wang can see what's going on. Attached is the latest failed attempt. Appreciate everyone's help with this!Attached Files

Decided to roll back through different versions and noticed in version 6.2.3.8 the DVDFab team made "Some improvements on video remux engines FFmpeg and MKVToolNix". I installed the previous version 6.2.3.7 and restested the same download file and all worked as designed. Log file will be attached to this post. I then updated to version 6.2.3.8 and had the issue where the download would fail. My assumption is the improvements to the video remux engines is having a negative effect on my old computer setup. Hopefully the developers can get this corrected. Adding Wilson.Wang for awareness.Attached Files
