    Peacock Problems with Peacock Downloads

I have had such inconsistent results with the Peacock downloader that the program is virtually useless. After beginning a download, the downloader hangs -- usually between "downloading audio" and "downloading video." Sometimes, repeating the download request will result in a complete download. However, the result is that the program can't consistently download from Peacock

I've been downloading latest episodes without a problem (save for intermittent glitches between aac & ec-3 audio that get eventually resolved), so without specifics and a log file, there's literally little anyone can do for you...

Peacock used to be very problematic - but has been very reliable for several builds now. Verify Peacock functionality independently with a browser on same device you're using StreamFab

I can be more specific. I am getting similar failures on downloads of On Patrol: Live, specifically S3 E35, 36, 37, etc. At least 3-5 minutes doing analysis and then failure. Logfile shows items timing out. Using latest version.

          shurdsj,
Please delete or rename your current StreamFab.log. Run ONE download that you are having problems with. When done, attach the new StreamFab.log to your post here using the "Upload Attachments" button. Do not post the log text within the message. Do not edit this new StreamFab.log in any way, including removing any line(s). Do not send the entire log directory. Do not send any other file but StreamFab.log. If you follow these instructions, there is no need to compress the file using ZIP, RAR, or any other compressor program.

            WNYPhillip,

I need your StreamFab.log, as well. Follow the directions I gave above to shurdsj. I have started downloading On Patrol Live, episodes S03E35 through S03E37. So far I have completed E35 and I had no problem downloading it. Processing takes a long time, but it is a long show with lots of cuts in it. The reason I want both of yours StreamFab.log is because my Settings my not be your Settings.

I think the problem is that they get hypnotised by they analysing progress bar scrolling and never bother to check back the actual peacock browser window and that window is stuck presenting them with a profile selection, and until they select the profile, peacock won't let SF download anything... Happened to me a few times...

I can't say that has ever happened to me. I only have one profile, and that gets picked before I'm even allowed to look at the videos available, and way before I choose any for download.

Back to WNYPhillip --- No problem downloading the On Patrol Live episodes, as you can see.

I have made the observation that a lot of content I have gotten lately no longer lists the Bento handler in the video info, but the content is perfectly fine.
Inconsistent audio is a thing, but likely provider related. Ie: Chicago Med S3 has 5.1 @ 384, S4 is @ 192. (unusual for a show to regress)

I think Peacock, by default, creates an adult and a kids profile. Yes it does ask me to choose at the start of session, but if you leave a session idle long enough, and try to download something the screen is presented again while the analyse progress bar is scrolling, just saying it's happened. In any event, when you are analysing for ages, it's always pertinent to check what the browser window is doing regardless, as sometimes it takes you to the Puss-in-Boots error screen too.

I've had Transplant S04 go all AAC until last week and the latest episode, then re-downloaded all episodes of the current season and they ended up being ec-3... not sure what's going on nor where...
