StreamFab for Windows Channel 4 Not Working

Channel 4 is not working. The website login fails because of "missing Java" or incompatible browser. Without logging in, streams fail.

I never needed Java to log in to Channel 4 ..
.. not installed on my PC - and login in regular Chrome works fine.

Perhaps you mean JavaScript ? (or you have a problem with captcha)

I found today that C4 downloads stall at the download stage if you're not logged in and subscribed to the ad free version.
I rarely use C4 so I've taken a 7 day trial and been able to download what I wanted. Without logging in it said to use a different browser and on the Chrome browser it asks me to switch off ad blocker.

But I was able to download in 1080p

(but not all title availaible for free with ads)
.. but looks like the encryption fails in SF (only) if no ad seen
