There's a problem with the subtitles on Survivor Tv show on paramont+

Looks like your player show Subtitles with color code but not the color.
That's why I assume that it's not an SF problem, but a player problem.
(But no code tags for me with Survivor.s01e01 remuxed subtitles)

So far, I've only seen this in vlc ..
.. custom subtitle colors are not supported natively by VLC without third party plugin.

Are these subtitles embedded into the container or external? If they are external, do they have the .srt extension? If so, then maybe your player determines the sub format from the extension instead of the header/content

Try renaming the file to .vtt and see if that works. Because those tags are for WebVTT and not SubRip
