    Amazon Prime/No Subtitle downloads

For a while now I haven't been able to download subtitles from anything on Amazon Prime including a recently started AMC+ subscription I just started. The subtitles are available, and I choose embedding them in the video, but it never works. I even tried a fresh install at one point, but it didn't work. Please help!
    Thanks

I can't test - but log looks like there is something weird with your temp path for subs:

    Code:
    [DownloadControlAmazon]" "amazon before remux, audio file C:\\Users\\ .. \\Documents\\DVDFab\\StreamFab\\temp/outputTemp/ .. /Audio_00/at_00 is existed ? : 1, file size : 290088382
    [Info]: convert result subtitle file c:%5CUsers%5C .. %5CDocuments%5CDVDFab%5CStreamFab%5Ctemp/outputTemp/ .. /Sub_00/st_00.srt is exist? : 0, file size is 0
    [Critical]: "[DownloadControlAmazon]" transformXmlToSrtSubtitle failed, retry
    [DownloadControlAmazon]" "Download, before remux, video file C:\\Users\\ .. \\Documents\\DVDFab\\StreamFab\\temp/outputTemp/ .. /Video_00/vt_00 is existed ? : 1, file size : 682130421

I saw ep1 is free in USA.

For me the subtitle path is correct ..
      Code:
[Info]: convert result subtitle file c:/Users/Germania/Documents/DVDFab/Temp/outputTemp/Amazon/2025_08_05_18_56_48_B0CPQ7PYLK/Period_00/Sub_00/st_00.srt is exist? : 1, file size is 42280
      so the remux works fine:

Thanks Germania, It's not about getting a free episode. That is just an example of a larger problem that I've been having for a while in Amazon Prime that I'd like to get solved. I'm older and don't hear as well as I used to, and the subs help a lot. Hopefully someone will chime in and help me solve this ongoing problem.

I wrote that it is free only because that is why I was able to test it ..

.. and your problem obviously lies in your personal SF temp path

My temp directory in StreamFab is set to: "C:\Users\ekent\Documents\DVDFab\StreamFab\tem p" There is plenty of space on my C drive.
In the temp directory there is a folder called "outputTemp". In that folder there are additional folders for all my other streaming services except Amazon. All my other streaming services remux the subtitles into the videos without any problem. How do I resolve this subtitle failure issue for Amazon? I don't see any way to correct it in StreamFab. Should I create an Amazon folder in the outputTemp folder? Any help or direction would be extremely appreciated.

The space between the tem and p above was a typo: "C:\Users\ekent\Documents\DVDFab\StreamFab\tem p"

Did you try deleting your temp folder and cache folders; then in settings choose something like new location (create the folder yourself first, so it has proper write permissions)---
C:\Users\ekent\Documents\SF -- or if you have additional drive, try F:\SF
I put all my temp/cache stuff on secondary 'F' drive and makes it easier to empty the whole folder (at least for me). Also more secure for me as app not writing to my C drive user folder.

I forgot to mention that although the StreamFab log and temp folders are set to their default locations on my C Drive, the download folder for SF is set to my much larger D drive. I created a new temp folder on the D drive, pointed SF to it and the Amazon subtitles stopped failing. I'd like to thank both of you for your help in pointing me in the right direction! Thanks again!
