StreamFab for Windows Administrator Run Problem With 6.2.4.8

Wilson.Wang There's a loading issue with the latest version if trying to run it as Administrator .. It simply will not load and open.

Click image for larger version Name:	0.jpg Views:	0 Size:	29.2 KB ID:	466434

Click image for larger version Name:	1.jpg Views:	0 Size:	26.6 KB ID:	466435

It just sits there, a black box and never opens. I have to force close it via Task Manager.

However, if I merely double click to open not as Administrator, it does without issue ..

I don't know why you need to start SF as admin ..
.. but I can confirm that it's the same for me.

With 6247, on the other hand, it works.

I only mentioned (thanks btw for confirming it's the same for you), the issue with running as Administrator due to the simple fact that whenever I've raised a support ticket, Rain [always] comes back with "run as Administrator" as a fix .. FOR EVERYTHING!!

Safe. I concur, although my experience is Rain excels in giving the runaround and zero support at the end of it. Oh and Rain is female, going by [her] Avatar.

Yes, I'm referring to support. They sometimes go around in circles. Nevertheless, I describe my problems in a ticket. They either say it'll be fixed with the next update, or I should reinstall, delete temp files... I think it's always other people doing the copy-pasting, or they don't read the history. At one point, I asked what the weather was like in Canada, and they also told me to delete the temp files :-)

Sebastian001 you are truly a funny guy - you made me laugh with your "I asked what the weather was like in Canada, and they also told me to delete the temp files" . And I don't laugh easily. I've came to the genuine conclusion a while back that "technical support", and I say that with an extreme pinch of salt, cannot in all honesty be that useless and incompetent without it being by design! They are clearly and quite deliberately being as unhelpful and unsupportive as possible. I've clearly listed EVERYTHING I have already done to troubleshoot a particular issue I'm now raising with them, bullet pointing it in my ticket submission -and the reply I get, usually from Rain, has most times asked me to undertake the very same troubleshooting processes I have clearly listed as already having been done!! Upshot, no-one is that dumb! It is by design!

I've been meaning to say this for sometime now, and this presents me with the perfect opportunity to do so. @Germania is absolutely exemplary and phenomenal with his tireless troubleshooting and investigations into users issues posted on this forum. And with offering genuinely decent and considered fixes (if available depending on the issue raised), or confirmations on problems being reported.. This is not taking away the help and assistance others, including yourself Sebastian001, offer to support us, and alongside Germania I want to thank EVERY ONE OF YOU GUYS for helping and supporting us. Because honestly speaking you guys are the true technical support, not that being offered with "tickets".

                    Ok, sermon over ...
