    YouTube Audio Unknown?

Is there still something not quite up to date with the YT module?
When I click the down arrow to analyze a video, I can select the AV1 like I want to, but for audio, it simply says "Unknown."
If I use a different YT downloader that uses yt-dlp on the front end, I often see different audio options.

Same video with a different downloader program:

.. so we need updated SF with latest stable yt-dlp

    SF 6249/6250: YoutubeToMP3Process (modded yt-dlp) is still 2025.07.21

It show also with 6251 "unknown Audio" ..
.. because yt-dlp provides the same result:

(my result is AAC 44100Hz stereo 127kbps)

In the original post, the other program also uses yt-dlp as a loader.
Is the 'Unknown' part merely the language?
Presumably we don't get the 2 audio codec options because they (SF) don't care about the codec, just the language?

          Hi,

It's the audio language, not the audio codec.

AAC audio codec is downloaded in YouTube.
