that's not true. I was using a premium account and was able to download Avatar with a German Atmos layer. Now with ads I can't download it anymore. I had some more movies with the same issue. so there also German atmos layers in bigger US productions.

and the data rate is higher because most of the content is offered in h.264. most of the amazon content is h.265 and netflix offers nearly everything in av1. obviously h.264 is less efficient and needs more data.

I didn't claim to have checked the entire Disney catalog for German Atmos.
h264 is correct for older content; newer content is also available in h265, with exceptions. And here, too, the data rates are on average higher than on Amazon or Netflix. And while Amazon generally offers three data rates for 1080p and two data rates for 720p, Disney usually offers a choice of four to six data rates for both.

Yes, Fandango at Home will be supported in the version 6260 this week, Disney+ will be supported in the version 6261 next week.

That is very good news.
I hope it also means the h265 streams will be unlocked for a lot of shows that only seem to offer h264 in SF, but you can find h265 elsewhere. (such as Hulu via D+)
