BTW, I haven't got the warning yet. Based in the US, no VPN, ad-supported. Granted I don't download much right now, just the occasion new releases, and I'm slowly replacing my Crunchyroll anime collection for multi-audio and better sound. But there was a time a couple of years ago when I was pushing the daily limit because I subscribed to Paramount+ through Prime during a promotion and wanted to get everything before the 3 months was up (all of Star Trek, NCIS, CSI, and others, hundreds of episodes, plus movies). I rent and purchase, no cancellations, but I almost never watch them on Prime.

My only reason to use Amazon is to get H265.

StreamFab needs to concentrate on bringing H265 to all modules where the provider supports it so we don't have to rely on Amazon as much.

We already know Paramount+ and Peacock offer H265 but SF can't figure it out.

Someone at Reddit said he got the warning despite never download anything from Amazon--not with SF, not with anything. He was super confused and did a Google search and that was how he found the reddit thread. So we still don't know if SF is really the trigger here.

I got the Apple account via Amazon expressly do download a bunch of movies I'd purchased over the past decade to keep without the DRM, and also for couple of the series. Zero issues. Not all of my Apple purchases show up on my Amazon account to download due to licensing things, but 60% or so do, so a win for me.
Thank you so it isnt the appletv triggering it then i guess

Both computers have been the same Amazon account using streamfab since the dawn of creation and all the updates over time.

I retired my test account set up with my 3rd computer since it went past the 30 days and that one was hammered for 100/day. No email warnings from either account. Been using all 3 with and without VPN. Everything is US based so not sure if that makes a difference.
have you used the appletv service through amazon?

Also has anyone else received a message since the other thread was closed down?

Here's the question though, has anyone received the message with a new account that never ever used any version before the "fix" was implemented? What if they are just slowly looking at logs etc and getting around to it because its using some AI thing? It seems to me that OP used an old version to download back in march then took a hiatus and then started again.

Interesting, I recently added ATV+ for the first time and I got an email as well.

I am pretty sure this is from 6.2.5.0+. Here's my investigation of the HDD contents (just Amazon downloads):
    • at the end of March there are some downloads, the last version of SF used was 6.2.4.2
    • zero downloads in April, May, June and most of July
    • ~15 items at the end of July via SF 6.2.4.6
    • after that, straight cut to SF 6.2.5.0 and the middle of August: AppleTV+ subscription and a lot of downloads
Maybe the quite new AppleTV+ is the trigger.

There won't be a second warning.

If you continue, the next message will be We have indefinitely suspended this account.

And this means completely. Echos, Fires, everything is gone.

    AppleTV+, amazon.co.uk... been there.

I'm only doing moderate downloads now if some old movie or something pops in. Or a series on Apple+. I bulk downloaded a ton of stuff in Q1 as I was trying to dump some 20+ year old DVDs in favor of episodic rips for using in my new Zidoo box. DVD iso of stuff I own can be funky. Obviously moderation is good in all things, except coffee.
