StreamFab for Windows Sf 6.2.5.5 drm mdp

I wanted to download the new episodes of The Walking Dead Dary Dixon Season 3 from Magenta TV. This had worked in the past and with other titles. Now I've been trying for three days and always get a “failed” message after remuxing. Are there any other reports of this problem? The log file is attached. However, I'm not familiar with this and can't evaluate it.

start streamfab and click the 3 hamburger lines in the upper right hand corner, click settings - preferences - under VIP services & under video format the dropdown menu you can choose mp4 or MKV choose (MKVToolNix) or MKV (FFMpeg) and see if you still get the failed after remuxing message again.

I tried with same settings (mkv ffmpeg + remux into file) and get same failed.

It has to do with the subtitle:
      Code:
[CefMedia] Error opening input: Invalid data found when processing input\r\nError opening input file .. /subtitle_0.trans.srt.de.\r\nError opening input files: Invalid data found when processing input
With mkv(mkvtoolnix) I get an similar error
      Code:
[CefMedia] The type of file '.. /subtitle_0.trans.srt.de' could not be recognized

Looks like SF can't correct handle the mimeType="application/mp4" for subtitle ..
.. so you can't use remux into file - change to extract to srt

      btw: Curious – web.magentatv.de offers 1080p ..
      .. web2.magentatv.de only offers 720p

@Germania: Hi, thank you for your tip, unfortunately changing the settings didn't help. But then I omitted the subtitles during the download, and after that it worked. It's just a shame that the series is currently set in France and therefore often spoken in French, which means I sometimes miss the context. But I can also get the subtitles from the internet. I use PLEX to play it, where you can assign them online. Thanks again.

I received an mp4 + srt file with SF - but I was in a bit of a hurry ..
.. so I didn't check the subtitles. My result is an xml file:

But the real (german subs) result from MagentaTV is here:

Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to log in via web.magentatv.de. I'm always automatically redirected to the new version.

Login always need the current product status.
I was also switched to web2.magentav.de (SmartStream 2.0)

If I paste a web.magentatv.de url (after login) in SF adressbar
I need to close the window in foreground before magenta progressbar is finished:

Seems like SF didn't convert it to SRT. You can rename it to .ttml and if your player supports it, it will play fine. You can also convert TTML to SSA/ASS to keep all the formating but have a more widely supported format

Yes, converted xml is better as my manually dl without formatting:

However, this does not explain why the xml (with srt extension)
does not appear to have been created for Chrswbr1

First of all, thank you for finally letting me know what the problem with magenta.tv was. I also had problems after downloading and remuxing the download. Now, when I leave the subtitles out, the downloads work without any problems. Has this already been reported to support?

I don't think so - most users think that posting in the forum is enough
(but I can't say whether Chrswbr1 did this or not)

I've no problem to dl manually (significantly faster) and get the xml instead srt.
I don't know why I don't have to disable the subs, so I'm not affected by this.
