Paramount+ P+ vids are not downloading correctly. (StreamFab v6.2.5.5)

Using Win10, StreamFab v6.2.5.5. Trying to download "Pulp Fiction (1994)" and "Codebreaker Who Hacked Hitler (2015)" and "Murder On The Orient Express (1974)" and I am getting varying results. Sometimes the file size is too small and the video is incomplete, other times the video is complete and I lost the soundtrack in the middle of the video, and at other times I get "failure" or "video not available at this time" error messages from the service. I am not having problems with other streaming services, just P+. I have tried:
    1) Deleting temp and logs folders
    2) Rebooting and restarting Streamfab
    3) Rebooting my router

Any help is appreciated, as some of these titles may disappear at the end of September. Thank you!

Tried attaching zipped log file folder, but it exceeds the "max post size" limit. I'm hoping this is not a new issue report. Thanks in advance for all the hard work to support this product!

Posts about Paramount+ here https://forum.dvdfab.cn/search?searchJSON=%7B%22prefix%22%3A%5B%22paramoun t%22%5D%7D, I think Paramount+ should officially be marked broke.

      Agreed. Paramount+ is functionally unusable.
Note: Switching broken services to Amazon subscriptions impacts the already stressed download limits on Amazon.

We can really hope that they develop a base module with Streamfab 7 and adapt it for the respective streaming providers. The Paramount module is already very outdated.
It's possible that it now has a newer base than the one I used a few years ago, but I don't think so.
NEVER use the update function within Streamfab. Always download the offline file!

          utilities.log + qef.log are not useful/necessary - only StreamFab.log

You should rename the StreamFab.log and try only once.
Than it should be no problem with file size if zipped

You could have at least communicated your settings and selection in your post.
The country would also be interesting - but you're listed under USA in my brain.

I tried Pulp Fiction via NY (also Win10 + SF 6255) and I can't detect any error ..
.. only the known 540p + AAC limitation in the USA

If I need it from P+ in 1080p also no problem:

btw: Also available at PV in USA and NF in CA

Problems are still present in v6.2.5.6 that I downloaded and installed this morning. I cleared cache before launching the new version too.

Stan001 - I will check out the P+ thread, thought I was in the correct place here when I saw the P+ tag present. Thank you!

drjenkins - bummer that P+ is considered functionally broken, would like to see it get fixed soon because I just started a subscription.

Thank you, Germania, for the helpful feedback! Yes - USA here and learning from everyone here as I go. Vielen dank!

You may as well stick to posting here. I was just showing the huge influx of reports with issues concerning Paramount+.

The best attempt by SF was to attempt to fix: A problem that subtitles cannot be downloaded when downloading videos from Paramount+.
And some people already claim SF still doesn't download subtitles.

Other than YT possibly working a bit better in 6256, 6255 overall works better for most other providers other than Paramount+.
Paramount+ is several months of not offering anything better than 540p in certain areas. It is claimed that there are locations outside the US that can get 1080p through Paramount+.

Maybe SF is spending more time on version 7 of SF, to get it out, LOL.

Stan001 Thanks - all good points. For some reason, at my location in the US, the analysis engine seems to be getting 1080p vids most of the time. It's the audio that cuts out though. And I haven't heard about work on v7 - you're right, that would be a distraction and would discourage SF from fixing bugs in 6. Glad I reported it though, adding my voice to the list.

RESOLVED with workaround - I downloaded v6.2.5.4 and installed. Paramount+ works in that version, so I got what I needed. This morning I noticed that 6.2.5.7 came out, and the release notes say non-specifically that "some problems of playability of saved MP4s were fixed, but it did not call out P+ specifically. I'm set for now though, will wait a while before I upgrade to 6.2.5.7 since I burned so much time with this problem. Cheers to all!

On and off I kept toggling over to mp4 and on and off have been having problems with it. Yes, it should work, but honestly I have no single reason to use mp4 over mkv. So I no longer toggle to it and leave it to mkv. And at least that way too if mkvmerge gets too out of date, we can still manually replace it.
