I have just made today's update to version 6.2.5.8 and the problem seems to be resolved!
Tomorrow I will check, if forced subtitles are available again too.

I can confirm. The update was a success.

Subtitles still not downloading right. Any language other than English got cut off at mid-way when extracted to ASS.
