HBO Max HBO subtitles - Extract original format - no subtitles downloaded

No subltltes downlaoded from HBO though I can find them in temp folder as vtt files while downloading

Your log is incomplete - it contains no SF version, country and settings ..
.. mpd url looks like Europe and in title you wrote "Extract original format"

“Extract Original format” has never worked for me with Max - with any SF version

That's unchanged and never works for me with Original Format from Max ..
.. although the subs are also downloaded without errors in this case.

"Extract to SRT File" works fine for me:

Updated log. True - it does download SRT but issue it when converted to SRT it loses alignment tags which are present in original VTT. Hope this bug is fixed soon.

Correct, that's why I prefer also Original Format (works with NF + Amazon)
But even that was (unfortunately) never any different.

So I can only offer the manual method => get mpd url here
