UHD Copy UHD Backup with I7-6700?

Hello, just curious, is there anyone that is successfully backing up 4k UHD with only an I7-6700 CPU? I can upgrade my PC to a GTX 1050 GPU no problem. But I believe my PC will only accept the highest of an I7-6700 CPU upgrade (do to an H170 Motherboard?). Is anyone using an I7-6700 and 1050 GTX? Is it working with 4k UHD backup? Will this combo work? Thank you in advance!
