Dolby Vision Backup

what format is best for making dolby vision back up with no compression? mp4, mkv, .iso, etc. and what is the preferred method to play back? i have tried both mkv and .iso and both play back as HDR10 on my apple tv/infuse app. i also have an oppo player which i read can play them back but no such luck here.
