Maybe someone can chime in here.
Looking at the bitrate of the single layer files DVDFab is creating there is a loss of bitrate about equal to the 2nd enhanced DV layer.
Test I just did here are the results.
UHD Bitrate from full disc:
Video: HEVC Video / 64255 kbps / 2160p
Video: HEVC Video / 7742 kbps / 1080p
DVDFab Single Layer File:
Overall bit rate : 65.0 Mb/s
Video Bit rate : 64.3 Mb/s
DVDFab Dual Layer File:
Overall bit rate : 72.7 Mb/s
Video #1 - Bit rate : 64.3 Mb/s
Video #2 - Bit rate : 7 743 kb/s
So what is happening to the missing bitrate in the single layer files?
Are we actually losing all of that data making single layer files, if so this isn't truly keeping the DV enhancements intact?
