Asus BW-16D1HT Drive and Pacific Rim Uprising disc destroyed...

I was trying to open the Bluray 4k Pacific Rim Uprising in DVDFab. During the analysis phase, the drive sped up eventually shattering the disc and destroying the drive along with it.
I'm trying to piece together what happened.

I included the dvdfab_internal.log file. It happened yesterday (january 31).

Defective drive was having trouble reading the disk and retarted Asus firmware speeds up the drive not like LG that slows it down and boom your disk asus's fault not DVDfab
