UHD Ripper MKV Passthrough and HDR10/HDR10+

With v12, the profile screen seemed to have new options regarding HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision.

I understand what they provide to a UHD movie but do not understand how/if I need to do anything special in DVDFab.

    General details and goal...
    • ISO already on HD, want to convert to MKV
    • Looking for lossless w/ high def. audio -- really just want to convert the ISO main stream to MKV without any re-encoding.
    • TV (and discs/ISOs) support HDR10/HDR10+
I've used UHD Ripper in the past with v11 with an MKV Passthrough setting.

Does MKV Passthrough in v12 provide HDR10/HDR10+ if the video stream already has it? Or do I need to configure or choose a separate profile?
Do I need to re-convert my discs converted with MKV Passthrough in v11, now that v12 provides details on HDR10?

I have some assumptions but you know what they say.

The MKV Passthrough in both v11 and in v12 supports to keep HDR10, but HDR 10+ is not supported, it will play in HDR10 on TV.
