New UHD copy problem

I tried copying "M.I. Dead Reckoning Part One" last night and it gave errors again and again. I tried it with MakeMKV and the same problem except the disc got stuck in the drive and I had to reboot the computer to get it out.

I tried a couple more UHD discs with DVDFab and a very strange thing happened. It was going through the "decrypt" phase accessing the cloud server and then suddenly it went to a screen that said BD Volume Data? I could do nothing more. It was like it couldn't read the UHD disc info. It had no chapters, audio options, subtitles.

I tried the same discs with MakeMKV and same issue it would not read the disc. The drive then was not found by my computer. I had to reboot it to find the drive again.

I can not copy any discs with DVDFab any longer, keeps going to that strange info screen.

Something is very wrong with my drive, any suggestions would be appreciated.

What drive do you have in your machine? What firmware version is installed? Does the drive handle regular blu-rays and dvds ok?

My LG WH16NS40 firmware 1.00 copied a couple UHD discs after I uninstalled the drive and reinstalled it. One movie would not copy, however. Kept giving me read errors. I bought a LG BP60NB10 external drive, and it copied fine.

Yes, my WH16NS40 will copy Blu-ray and DVD as well as UHD. This is the second internal LG drive that has given me problems. The new external one runs much smoother and so far, is working great. Don't think I will buy a LG internal drive again.

Once again, the drive is the problem, and DVDFab works as it should.
