DVDFab 13 UHD Ripper doesn’t preserve HDR?

On multiple titles, UHD rips using 13.0.3.9 no longer contain HDR, and the videos look very washed out. The same title ripped using 12.1.1.5 look normal and contain HDR. Using MediaArea’s MediaInfo (and Planet Earth III Disc 2 Title 18 as an example), the 12.1.1.5 ripped video has a Format profile of “Main 10@L5.1@High” with an HDR format of “SMPTE ST 2086, HDR10 compatible” compared to the video ripped with 13.0.3.9 which has a Format profile of “Main@L5@High” and no HDR format listed.

Again, I get the same results from multiple other titles as well, including The Terminator, Bad Boys Ride or Die, The Fall Guy and The Killer’s Game.

Can anyone else confirm this using DVDFab 13? Thanks so much for your efforts.

The issue does not seem to have been fixed in 13.0.4.1. A test video ripped with 13.0.4.1 still seems to lack HDR, and has a Format profile of “Main@L5@High”.

Yes i can confirm this is still an issue, only noticed when i played Back To The Future and my tv did not recognize it was HDR

also not sure why the ripper tool automatically changes the resolution from 3840/2160 to 3840/1608 for eg on some titles

and further more , why when you have broken a program with an update , are you forcing people to pay for extended service to download an older version of a program you've purchased a lifetime agreement with.
