where is the user guide and how to book? It is hard to setup a unit without any instructions?

I can't find anything user manual related, but I used xbmc before and this is just like it.

I received mine and so far I can't get it to work properly at all (see my other posts/thread).

Yes got it lat night. Im trying to get it to read the HD on my pc but will not finsd it on the network. Tryed to see if it would find music on my I phone but that did not work eather. They should have a "how to Book".

You need to have permissions set on pc over network
Add source samba
Make sure movie are named correctly and year
Each movie needs to be in own folder
Example
Folder "movies"
Folder 300+year
Now inside 300 folder have video file
Hope it helps
Btw if u use the renamer it will name it put year and create folder for file

You do not have to have each movie in it's own folder for XBMC. That is just too unwieldy for large collections.

That is a fallacy.

I have my movies in GENRE folders and up to 100 in a folder and it all works fine on XBMC.

Hi greg yes i know but its a good way to keep thing neat especially when you start adding cover art fananart disc.png logo.png etc

I'll agree to disagree.

All those art files that you mention always are named uniquely or for in the case of actors, held in a created subdirectory.

If, as in my case, you have multiple players connected and some not running XBMC, straight file navigation becomes painful.

On soon to be 3 machines
I tried wdtv,aios and xbmc love xbmc over them so out the door they went now im stuck
