No Sound, choppy video and more issues

I just got mine today. At first it wouldn't play my blu ray iso files I then found a movie that played but no volume and choppy video. I played with the audio and video setting. I then downloaded dvdfab 9.0.4.1 and ripped the video to vidOn.me player and that one was still choppy and no sound. My wd 2 tb hard drive is usb 3.0 so that shouldn't be the issue. video settings stays at 720i and will not stay at 1080p please Help..

Join my club, i'm in the same boat as you, but I can sometimes get it to play by messing with the audio output settings, I use analog and 2.0, change the 2.0 to something else then go back, but it is still nowhere near perfect of semi on some .mvk files.

I think we have to wait for the pros to get theirs for help.

I guess I got lucky. I ripped all of my movies to MP4. I haven't had a chance to test all of them. I tested like 3 of them and so far no choppy video or audio issues. I'm reading all of my videos from a USB 3.0 2TB WD Passport Drive.

Unfortunately I spoke too soon. I played the first 5 minutes of Expendables 2 and the video looked OK. When I played 21 the video looked choppy. I could never get the HDMI to work (never performed the firmware upgrade). So I'm stuck with analog. Whenever I chose HDMI as audio source I would hear bursts of static. Also my video setting is stuck at 720p and gets displayed on my HiDEF TV as 4:3 stretched. Ugh what a mess

For no sound, make sure that you turn the volume all the way up using the remote for the VidOn.Me box.
          Hope this helps
