FOR SALE - one VidOn.me set top box

I am not encouraged by the posts I read here. I just got my Vidon.me yesterday after waiting five months and I could not get it to work.

There are no instructions and as far as I can tell there are no online instructions either.

I have two questions for the forum:
    1. What is the best set top box on the market? (I define best as being easy to install, easy to use, and able to play main movies from network attached storage.)
    2. Is anyone interested in buying my Vidon.me player? Like new condition never been used!!! (I promise my shipping time will be less than five months!)

    Thanks.

    Ron

I have 2 sony smp-n200's, I have a seagate also, and now this vidon.me (maybe it should be called suckersbuy.me, I hope not but so far its going that way) I wasted my $100 on this POS (I will take all this back if we somehow get this to work)

I stream great with the sony, the only thing about the sony is some of my older .mkv files it would not play (files must have been processed wrong, seagate played them but seagate was choppy playing some 1080p .mkv files, and network play on the seagate was poorer), and some letterbox films it automatically fills the screen (no option to get it back, but really not a big deal). The last thing with the sony it does not play ISO files, but I just extract them and it plays the .vob files fine.

I have a PS3 and that sucks cause it wont play .mkv files or lots of other formats, just certain ones.

newegg has the sony reconditioned (one of mine is and works like my new one) for around $35 now

I also use a Asus RT-AC66R router and hook up a powered hard drive to it to stream throughout my house and it works perfect, thue the sony, android, iOS, TV's, Ect..

I Thought this vid thing would do all but so far it can't handle much at all, sometimes it works then next time it does not even play the one it just did.

I to bought the vidon.me. I'm always looking for new solutions that work with my media, as of yet not to impressed a rating of 2 out of 10. I like the way is downloads poster and background images for each movie. Now, I have used oplay on each of my TVs these last four years. I am now exclusively all digital files in ISO from a networked share. My problem is getting through a long list of movie files, so I continue to look for better ways of doing this.

Check out the mede8er units. I

Also had luck with the netgear 550

The WD units work well too but don't do true-HD or DTS-MA

I have a Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex TV STAJ100 media player and I used it for 2 years now. I play my .divx & ISO files from my Seagate BlackArmor 440 with no problems what so ever.
I too, bought this vidon.me, for an extra player so my family could watch different movies in any room that wanted to. I can not get this piece of $*** to work either, and I am not going to setup a FTP server like they wanted me to.
So I have one for sale, also:
                Not to happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have one for sale, too!

I have not found anything that I like about this box, yet. I wanted the vidon.me so we could have two media players in the house that worked with the same IR system through out the house. I'll stay with my Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex TV STAJ100 media player. I have used it for 2 years now, and I don't have any problems connecting to my Seagate NAS BlackArmor 440. I can play .divx, mkv, ISO, and pretty much any other movie file. The HDMI works great from 480 to 1080i.
I have never been disappointed with any of DVDFab products, until now!
