Amazon Audio Codec naming is sometimes wrong

it often happens with amazon (perhaps other modules too) that the audio codec naming is wrong.
it is sometimes output as aac although it is eac3

In order for the Staff, Moderators, and User Volunteers to possibly find the solution to your problem(s) they need as much information from you as you can possibly give. At the very minimum, please get in the habit of attaching your StreamFab.log with each report of an issue.

Cats4U I don't think the OP understands what is needed, they have multiple posts and the same responses from you (and others), and still does not provide the information. A lot of times I can read peoples' minds, today is not the day.

I have seen where the audio is misidentified during the download screen (usually Hulu), regardless though I get the codec that is selected before the actual download.

He knows what is needed. He just refuses to comply because he is afraid that someone other than a Moderator or Staff Member will see what he watches on Amazon. I could almost understand if it was a porn site but Amazon? I couldn't care less what anyone watches.

Furthermore, I am a volunteer. I get nothing out of this except a good feeling when I'm able to solve someone's problem. If someone doesn't want to help me to help them, then I'm not going to waste my time.

i tried a bit and apparently the problem is only on amazon - 6.1.6.0

would change the tag but for reasons no one can explain i can't edit posts
