    Channel 4 Update???

    Thanks to the moderators for keeping us updated as best they can. I know that Channel 4 is affected by the DRM issue, but this channel hasn't been addressed in the changelogs or banner updates. I am sure it doesn't have as much demand as the major streamer, but it is a separate and supported channel (unlike MPD or M3U8). While I am hoping for a global DRM fix, can Channel 4 be reviewed by the developers? Thank you.

    (For a specific example, I am unable to download the most recent episodes of Hollyoaks.)

    Amazon, Netflix, and all other modules not mentioned in the banner message are actively being worked on. If they are not mentioned in the banner, then that means we already know about newer content not working.

    I will reiterate since as both Cats4U and I fully expected, it doesn't matter how clear and precise a banner is, people will always feel the modules they use is more important than others or simply ignore it and say i know it doesn't work but can you look at it? Please? With sugar on top?
    • If the module is not listed in the banner, it is not working with new content. Period. End of sentence.
    • If the module is not listed in the banner, it is being worked on. Period. End of another sentence.
    • If the module is listed as fully working but you get:
      • Failure accessing video
      • Endless analysis
        1. Sign out of the service
        2. Clear your cache
        3. Exit StreamFab
        4. Delete Temp folder
        5. Start StreamFab and try again
        6. If problem persists, now it's ok to post an issue in the forum
    • If you get a different issue, it's probably not due to DRM so hold on to the log and post the issue after DRM has been fixed. You can post now but it might just get overlooked because of the importance of fixing the DRM
    Several modules use the same ways of downloading the content so when you fix one module, you may actually be fixing four modules. Although i said some people think the modules they use are more important when they are not, i truly believe Amazon and Netflix are the most important ones. Once those are fixed, i am positive this will have a domino effect on the remaining modules.

    P.S. This post may seem like pure snark but it isn't. No matter what Cats4U and I ask, recommend or explain here in the forum, there are always people who willfully ignore it and do as they want by repeatedly asking for stuff that was already covered in posts or banners. I am frankly starting to wonder if i should even continue on this journey as it is quite frustrating and i don't want to start being a dick like some of the mods and longtime users of the other place
