Pluto TV Pluto TV downloads all fail

Not sure what's going on with Pluto TV but all the downloads fail. It downloads the entire video, and audio, and then at processing says "failed" with no error message. Anyone else having this problem? I'm on Windows 10, latest version 6.1.9.3

Pluto uses DRM protected mpd and unprotected m3u8 Links.

Please an example: Title or URL and Country

btw: After changing url's from names to numbers it's more difficult..

Pluto has its issues lately.
Like Germania said, maybe post movie and Country. I get ok from Eastern USA.
Also, maybe look in streamfab.log to see what error you might be getting.

My settings just mostly normal and save as MKV (FFmpeg) for VIP settings.

I tried only a single episode in DE, US + CA

CA: Anger Management.s03e01 => DL okay; No sound after cut-out ad-break (wyhtmgm)
DE: Anger Management.s04e01 => DL okay; No sound after cut-out ad-break
USA Flashpoint.s01e01 => DL + Playback okay

I just tested Charmed.s01e01 via Norway ..

I assume you have in StreamFab.log multiples

[Critical]: QtDownloadTask::onError : errorString :Host siloh-ns1.plutotv.net not found, code : 3

Then open Settings => Proxy and change from SOCKS4 to Direct

This is a bug (only) after Upgrade from SF 618x to SF 619x - see here

I just tested Charmed.s01e01 via Norway ..

Change Proxy to Direct did the trick.....but there is no audio after 13min 46sec in the downloaded video...

The multiparts protected DRM need Keys to decrypt ..
.. it's to heavy for people without experience in this area

But you can dl the unprotected video (ad-free) with yt-dlp or N_m3u8DL-RE

I installed version 6209 and hoped that the audio issue at pluto.tv was fixed, but I have the same problems as before. I tried "Trio mit vier Fäusten", "Derrick", "Der Alte", "Heaven can wait", and also tried mp4 and mkv. The audio ends at first ad-break. Can anyone confirm that version 6209 makes a difference to older versions and that downloads with 6209 are Ok? If so, I have to troubleshoot my own installation.
Additional information: v6.2.0.9, Win x64, Windows 10 Pro, Germany

I am in the USA and could not find any of those tiles, I tried a title of my choice. (Just Like Heaven)
It worked fine, there is a possibility it's your location, or if you use a VPN, that could affect things.
Tested with 6209, Windows 11 Pro.

The Audio problem was fixed by using drm free m3u8
instead multipart protected mpd (so no FHD) - see also here

I tried again the older stuff Mimic 3, Student Bodies who quited sound after round about 30min last time. This time the analysis don't finish, works forever.
Then I tried new stuff Ich kann's kaum erwarten (Can't Hardly Wait). This downloaded, but the same problem quits sound aftr round about 30min.

I downloaded the new version of Streamfab and on my side, the problem of incomplete audio still persists, at least, on the French platform of Pluto TV.

Depending on the programs, the audio is present for about 10 minutes and then the video is silent.

A fix for all Pluto TV platforms would be appreciated.

I tried Aruanas.s01e01 via FR and I could already see in the selection dialog
(3 different bitrates for same resolution) that it is multipart mpd and not m3u8.
Not only the log (with mpd url), but also full dl speed (no single segments) confirms this.
Resulting video is 40:02 - audio only 16:05, so I can confirm it's unchanged in France.

btw: My tested title from #12 in Germany is no longer offered in 1216x684 ..
.. so it's no m3u8 (with same SF version 6209) and the audio problem is back.
