Conversion Quality is awful

MAC Blu Ray to DVD (V8.2.2.6) - When I convert any movie from Blu Ray to DVD5 or DVD9 on the MAC the video output breaks up on bright spots in the movie....

I am starting to play with converting my bluray discs into dvds. I was going to convert the bluray to a dvd iso image, but I can't figure out how....

The audio/video sync is off and gets worse toward the end. Has anyone else experienced audio/video sync issues with Blu-ray to DVD option? Let me know...
