probably took 3 months longer here but seems to have arrived here too.
the only funny thing is that the AS has no problems and there is no update.

Can you give me a hint as to that post 4/29 D+ content? I can download The Veil, which dropped last night (30th) on Hulu, with 6.1.6.1. and 6.1.6.7.

The only issue is that it's in 63kbps 2-channel AAC, which is completely bloody ridiculous, and AS will give me a 256kbps 6-channel AAC download.

...However, sometime in the past 10 days since my last download the audio has now gone from EAC3 multi-channel to only AAC stereo on the SF DL menu - at least for Hulu's Shogun and the D+ Agent Carter series. This is not a Hulu or D+ limitation, since the competition's downloads are still in EAC3 6-channel,* so SF is obviously not even capable of maintaining what little download ability it did retain, which is not exactly breaking news to anyone here.

@KidJoe I didn't try any other D+ content, so if you got EAC3 with NatGeo you might want to check any future downloads and see if your luck is still holding.

*Caveat: Agent Carter and other D+ content will only download in 720p with the competition, as opposed to 1080p with SF, but Hulu will download in 1080p.

I just did a quick test with StreamFab right now:

Agent Carter on D+ S01E01, S01E02 and S02E03 download as 720p video (as expected), and audio is E-AC-3 6 channel 256Kbps.

X-Men 97, S01E01 on D+, it downloads as 720p H265 as expected, during the selection window, I picked Atmos, I got 768kb/s 6 Channel E-AC-3 JOC (Dolby Digital Plus with Atmos).

Shogun on D+ S01E01, S01E02, S01E03, all failed with "Failure accessing video information, please check your network connection or contact us for help" as expected, based on my prior post where I said Hulu content on D+ wasn't downloading via D+ Downloader.

The King's Man on D+ (not tagged as Hulu content. but it is on Hulu) FAILED with "Failure accessing video information, please check your network connection or contact us for help"

The King's Man on Hulu (using Hulu Downloader), 1920x1080p video (which I had selected), and E-AC-3 6 channel 256Kbps

Shogun on Hulu (using Hulu Downloader), S01E01, S01E02, and S01E03 downloaded 1080p video (what I selected), and audio is E-AC-3 6 channel 256Kbps

For The King's Man and Shogun on Hulu there is a longer pause with Processing shown on the progress bar, before it starts remuxing. Per Windows Task Manager Performance tab, disk utilization spiked, but no encode/decode activity on video card like Amazon does.

Seriously? Max isn't downloading squat for anything post 1/25, any more than Amazon is - re-encoding is all you're gonna get. I honestly don't give a crap about Abema, Shahid et al, since the attention SF gave to developing and pushing those later add-on modules took away from maintaining the global streaming services that I actually bought this software for, so holding them up as a shining example of SF's DRM cracking abilities doesn't cut it AFAIC. I'm talking about the major services. If you think having to uninstall/reinstall multiple older versions of SF to chase pre-January video/audio quality for Hulu and Disney+ (and come up short in many instances) equals "repaired," then your definition of the word is most emphatically different than mine.

The problems in the Paramount+ module are not DRM problems...

The DRM has been fixed for RTL+.

Are you sure you didn't download those earlier episodes on Hulu? Even though it shows up on Disney+ and SF will generate a download menu, it will just go into endless analysis and probably failure as it's a Hulu original and included in that subscription - see @KidJoe's post above, he did the heavy lifting on this topic.;)

Ep. 13 will download from Hulu using version 6.1.6.7. in 1080p EAC3 5.1.

Can you play it using your browser? Once you do, does that prompt SF to do anything? What does "doesn't work" mean - it won't generate a download menu past ep 12? it won't get past anaysis? it fails after analysis? what? You really need to be more specific.

I know what Anystream can do. I only selected 1080p in SF today because I wanted a faster download (1080p is smaller than 4K) to be able to post some result using SF in this thread.

On March 11, 2024, I did download Shogun with SF at 4K SDR (no HDR option when using either SF or AS), with E-AC-3/DD+ 6 channel 256kbps. And since it appears I only downloaded the first 3 episodes then, I'm downloading the rest at 4K now, using StreamFab. So far E03 and E04 have finished and are the same, 4K with EAC3 6 channel, 256kbps

As Disney+ isn't re-encoding/screen recording new content, which is what's happening for Amazon and Netflix, it's not the "same problem." You still haven't explained what "doesn't work" means, nor have you clarified what version you're using, so it appears your claim of "gone" is just as inaccurate.

I can't tell whether you tried @Sebastian001's v. 6.1.6.7 Amazon analysis workaround to get the correct EAC3 audio for pre-DRM change content for D+ and it didn't work (and why the hell should it?), or it didn't work for you for Amazon, or what.

There has been no update, so if you're down at seeing that unchanging flag, there's a good reason - it ain't fixed.

All you need to do is read what @Cats4U and @jpp72 have posted on this forum regarding their interactions with Wilson et al to realize that your feedback is going into the proverbial round file. There isn't going to be any "resolution" unless they hire a team who can break this latest CDM - which they aren't going to do, since all their efforts now are focused on pretending screen recording is the same as downloading. See, SF has been significantly behind the curve for the past two plus years, when their focus shifted from maintaining major global streaming sites to cranking out add-on modules for anything that had a subscription list of 25 people or less. While the competition was busily cracking this current CDM some four months before Google revoked the old one in January, they couldn't be bothered because that short-money grab was all that mattered. They knew it was going to happen and did nothing - that alone should tell you all you need to know.

What all of this comes down to is: you need to accept that "the issue is being resolved" is a big fat lie. All they're working on is fixing bugs in their stopgap screen recorder and trying to look like they're accomplishing something re the DRM to get people to renew their licenses - when they simply don't have anyone who's capable of that task. Not one DRM key has been cracked since January, but yeah, it'll be fixed any week now. No, really. Aaany week now. Uh, next week, for sure.

Your wanting a weekly update from SF just means you want to be lied to in new and different ways every 7 days - and as they aren't very inventive and obviously can't tapdance for sh*t, that'd also be a disappointment. They should be accountable to their customers - but sadly, that isn't going to happen.

Anystream, Pazu, Kigo series, Movpilot, Cleverget, and Freegrabapp do not have these two downloaders. I am looking for alternatives to provide these two downloaders, but I cannot find them,Myfilmdownload ran away in September 2021, and its website was closed in January of this year

I don't, but if they exist, then someone on this forum will know. (BTW, a lot of the software choices you listed aren't downloaders, but screen recorders.)
