Before trying again today, I completely wiped TEMP and LOGS and started by logging in to AppleTV, and I grabbed the episode with no other titles in the queue. (Sequence: close SF, confirm all processes closed, clear TEMP, clear LOGS, launch SF, open AppleTV, login, click Pluribus from home screen. Analysis commenced, I selected HDR+, max 4K resolution, and 5.1 audio, clicked Download Now.
My intent was to ensure there were no “leftovers” from any prior downloads, so if there were issues, it would be in a clean log and only based on this one download.
Based on today’s results, I just checked all episodes of The Last Frontier that I captured from from AppleTV a few days ago (version 7.0.0) and every one of them has the wrong subtitles.
Turns out another user is having this issue wth Apple and Pluribus, but in this case with Apple on Amazon: https://forum.dvdfab.cn/d/470235-subtitles-are-a-mess
So something is funky with AppleTV (but apparetnly not consistently funky)
