As far as I know, the maximum they all have is DD+ and DD+ w/Atmos. Because if you mean some kind of AI tool to do the enhancement after download, then NO thank you. But if you mean updates to the way StreamFab downloads to be able to grab even higher bit rates for audio/video and more opportunities to download EAC3-JOC (aka DD+ w/Atmos), then yes please.

🤣 I have no idea, lots of things annoy me too, and I'm disappointed that it's just a facelift.

Already noted in comments, but this is a big one for me: **Downloading from multiple VIP services simultaneously.** A prior product I used (AnyStream) was able to do this, and even allowed the user to specify how many simultaneous downloads to allow (ex: 1, 2, up to 5) so the user could optimize it based on their system resources.

I also want to see a fix to the download queue to ... (1) allow analysis from a provider when a download from that provider is already in progress. Too many times you realize you wanted to queue up something else, but you have to wait for the download to finish or wait to pause the queue to add a new title. and (2) make PAUSE actually work to suspend and resume from where it left off. If you hover over the PAUSE button on the provider banner in the queue, it shows "Pause the task" - the implication is you can pause now and resume it later . However, when you pause the provider the active download is CANCELED. It's not pending resumption - if you click PLAY thinking you'll resume, it starts over from analysis > downloading > processing > reumxing. It's not a pause - it's a "reset".

From a business perspective, you want to produce and keep a model where your customer base are happy with the products they have purchased. I think your time would be better spend asking an array of questions that will give you feedback on fixing things you already deliver as your highest priority, and when feedback confirms those issues have been SOLVED, then migrate to new and better functionality. If you think about it, what makes you think your customer base will believe new features will actually work if you haven’t proven your ability to fix what you already have. I’m not going to produce a list of things to address, as I’m sure you already have it. Take that list, post it, then commit and execute to a timeframe that shows your commitment to your customer base. Remember, you aren’t the only fish in the sea.

I’d be down for linux version of the app, I hate windows with a passion.

I’d love removing digital copy protection from the audio so videos can be directly edited. My work around is using unifab to convert the video to audio then import into an editor.

I’d like support for library services such as hoopla which seem not to work now.

I don’t use StreamFab or DVDFab any more since you abandoned Windows 7. My frame-by-frame video editor (VideoReDo) is no longer available and is critical to my daily computer usage. I would not be able to reinstall it to a new Windows version. Re-establishing my network of home computers and laptops on Windows 11 might be difficult, since I would want to retain Windows 7 on at least 2 of the computers. Fortunately my old version of StreamFab still works on some of the videos, and other video downloaders have picked up much of the slack, so I would rather give up on StreamFab upgrades than waste time switching to a newer version of Windows 7.

I’ve looked at the 2026 roadmap, and I have a strong suggestion: Move all AI-related features to UniFab.

UniFab is your dedicated AI application. Adding things like “AI Dubbing” or “Audio Enhancement” to StreamFab just makes the downloader more bloated and complicated. StreamFab should do one thing perfectly: downloading.

Instead of spending engineering hours on AI tools we already have in UniFab, please focus on expanding VIP Services for the UK and Australia. Many of us would find much more value in native support for:

UK: BBC iPlayer, Channel 5 (My5), and U (UKTV Play).
Australia: 7Plus, 9Now, and 10 Play.

Let’s keep UniFab as the “AI App” and make StreamFab the “Ultimate Global Downloader.” That is a much better division of your products for 2026!

What is the purpose of the browser plug-in? You have Mac or Windows, but now you take Windows and have different versions for different browsers. Is it because you cannot seem to keep CEF up to date?

Feature request – Download all available subtitles
Please add an option to download all subtitles available for a movie or episode.
This should include all languages, all subtitle types (normal, SDH/CC, forced), and ideally subtitles available in different regions (US, UK, FR, IT, ES, etc.).
Many titles have different subtitle sets depending on the country, and advanced users need access to all existing subtitles for archival, translation, or accessibility purposes.
A “Select All Subtitles” option and proper MKV muxing or separate subtitle export would be extremely valuable.
Currently, it is very difficult to know where a specific Amazon Prime Video title is available worldwide.
For Netflix and Disney+, tools like uNoGS and dplus clearly show which titles are available in which countries.

Feature request:
Please consider adding a global catalog view for Amazon Prime Video, allowing users to see:
In which countries a movie or series is available (FR, IT, ES, US, UK, etc.)
Where it can be streamed or downloaded with a valid Prime subscription
This would help users decide from which region they should watch or download a title, especially when traveling or using different regional catalogs.

Single Amazon Prime Account – Multi-Region Access
Many users have one legitimate Amazon Prime account, but the available catalog changes depending on the country.
Feature request:
Allow StreamFab to work with one Amazon Prime account across multiple regions, so users can:
Browse titles available in different countries
Download content based on their Prime entitlements, not only their current physical location
A “Global / Multi-Region Mode” for Amazon Prime would be extremely valuable.
Download ALL Available Subtitles
This is a very important point.
Many titles have:
Different subtitle languages depending on the region
Multiple subtitle types (normal, SDH/CC, forced)
Feature request:
Please add an option to download ALL available subtitles for a movie or episode:

All languages
All subtitle types (normal, SDH/CC, forced)
Ideally including subtitles available in other regions (US, UK, FR, IT, ES, etc.)
A simple “Select All Subtitles” option, with proper MKV muxing or separate subtitle export, would be extremely helpful for:
Multilingual users
Accessibility (hearing impaired)
Archiving and translation purposes
Why these features matter
Many users travel or live between countries
Streaming catalogs are fragmented by region
Subtitles are often incomplete or missing in one country but available in another
These improvements would clearly differentiate StreamFab from competitors.

Supporting French TVOD platforms would make StreamFab the most complete downloader for European cinema, not only focused on global SVOD services. France has a very rich and diversified TVOD ecosystem, where the same movie is often available for rental and purchase across many legal platforms, both mainstream and editorialized. Supporting these services would be a major added value for StreamFab users, especially cinephiles and collectors.
Below is a non-exhaustive but representative list of French VOD platforms that offer movie rental and/or purchase, and would strongly benefit from offline download support:
Major / Generalist VOD platforms: Orange VOD, Pathé Home.
Historical / video retailers & hybrid platforms: VIVA (VIVA by Videofutur), FILMO, PremiereMax,
Cinemasalademande.
Editorialized / arthouse / heritage cinema platforms: UniversCiné, ARTE Boutique, ArteVOD, LaCinetek, Capuseen

It was noted before, why any one user would need this.
How many languages can one person read?
The only logical reason is users are distributing the files, which goes against StreamFab TOS.
Also, in some sites, it’s next to impossible to download all of them.

First priority should be the ability to download everything in the HIGHEST possible quality. Netflix is broken as long as it can’t download in 4K.

For me the 1080p is fine for most things, the HDR is more important but if you come across 1080 HDR vs 4k HDR, most times you aren’t going to be able to tell the difference without a side by side comparison and a zoom. Especially for animation and older stuff.

What I would like though is more reliable downloads and less red flags and for people like me who don’t mind watching the stuff as I am streaming it. Here are some suggestions for future stuff. Most of them I think would be fairly easy to add some not.

1) The ability to just stream it at normal speeds instead of max speed and watch it full screen as it records. It would throw up less of a red flag since it is going at a normal speed and you are actually watching it. It can just remux it at after the stream is completed and move on. We get to watch it while as far as everything else is concerned it’s just a normal stream. I might record a handful of stuff at a time from something for personal use and I’m not using 100 slots, maybe 30 or so binge watching small stuff or 13 watching the bigger stuff with the family. Just being able to load it up, use it like its a normal browser and stream it like normal full screen would be nice with the only thing added would be making sure it didn’t ask me to continue mid streaming session like many of them do. I figure it would be much safer if it streams at normal speed on a 1-5gig connection rather than trying to saturate the entire connection.

2) If that isn’t possible (Or even if it is), the ability to setup the file delay so that instead of a set duration, it delays for the length of the video just completed plus a random duration afterwards.

3) The ability to mute tabs.

With the higher quality streams and all, I know that is a lot of work with the DRM stuff and figure if you could do that, you likely already would have. So, just keep up the good work there.

I just want to have 4K download support. That is what I bought the software for in the first place. I had to wait forever just to get that on one module, still waiting for the others. Not all, mind you, but at least the ones that it would apply to. I realize you’re not gonna have 4K options for stuff like Tubi and Pluto, etc., but at least for the companies that you have actually purchased 4K titles from, like Fandango/VUDU and Amazon, etc..

While I can’t comment for Amazon since I haven’t even tried. I can vouch for Fandango.

I downloaded 4k HDR content I owned and it worked without issue. The thing was you could only download the resolution you had available to you anyways. If I owned it in HD, I could download it in HD or below, if I owned it in SD, I could only get it in SD.

Same with the free stuff, if it was only open in HD, that was the biggest option to show up. Not a huge deal for me either way as the 4k stuff really isn’t important to me. Just wanted to see what would show up.

Definitely agree on the AI stuff though, less than zero desire to use that and hate the damage its doing right now.

michel.morabito Just a heads-up, in case you don’t know. iTunes can download the titles bought on Apple, then you just need to find them on your PC and unlock them. I found a software that does just that, and it wasn’t that much. At the moment, I can’t remember what it was called but you could find it in a search. Pretty sure they wouldn’t let me mention it here anyway. It’s another software company.

The two things I wanted most were not on the list.

I want to be able to download through VidAngel, and CleanFlix.
and
I’d like to be able to browse in StreamFab while its downloading/analyzing. Currently this seems to crash the program, so I just add them to the queue, then start the queue when I’m done browsing.

You just offered a 20% discount coupon if I were to take this survey. I took the survey and got the coupon that said it would be applied at checkout. A pop up window appeared and stated let’s go shopping. I clicked on that and the very item that I was going to purchase was the first item to pop up. It was the one to be able to download from the Chrome or Edge browser. It was for 99.99 with a 40% coupon already loaded bringing it down to 59.99. It asked that I put in my email address which I thought would add in the additional 20%. I went all the way up to clicking the purchase now button, but it was still at 59.99 so I backed out of it. What gives???
