jpp72 I was thinking how one would go about doing it in general, and came to a conclusion (based on the observation of how SF works and interacts with modules) that this would require a major re-write down to having an entirely different SF<->Module API

Fix the download queue so that it doesn’t take a year to load the queue when it is completely blank!

d.a.kloepper I don’t use StreamFab or DVDFab any more since you abandoned Windows 7.

Not even going to ask. But at some point they have to stop supporting specific OSes for very real reasons, not out of spite. Where do they stop? XP? 98? 95?

Which is exactly why version 7 is such a disappointment.

They claimed it was a full rewrite so you’d think they would have considered this. I personally don’t buy it. It looks like it was a copy/paste and the whole rewrite was only the UI. Not the engine under the hood.

Lossless audio? What streaming service has lossless audio? As far as I know, the maximum they all have is DD+ and DD+ w/Atmos.

Because if you mean some kind of AI tool to do the enhancement after download, then NO thank you.

But if you mean updates to the way StreamFab downloads to be able to grab even higher bit rates for audio/video and more opportunities to download EAC3-JOC (aka DD+ w/Atmos), then yes please.

It would also be nice to just analyze a chosen season for shows, as a 10 to 15+ season show can take time to analyze.

You may have drank the Kool-Aid, but I am not moving to Jonestown.

The article mentions the same shit from this poll. No mention of Individual Episode Analysis.

I have exactly zero reasons to believe it will happen anytime soon. If it does, then my faith will be partially restored. In the meantime, I will continue to be cynical and skeptical because they have shown us exactly what they do with our feedback:

Implementing stuff in a clunky way that doesn’t quite work or is useless for most
- Scheduler
- Interval downloading
Removing a feature instead of fixing it
- Downloading from multiple VIP sites simultaneously
- Adding to the queue while downloading from same service
Completely ignoring the feature request
- Individual Episode Analysis
Never finishing a feature
- Naming Template

I have a feeling it may not happen.
When I use SF, and it starts the queue it has to analyze each download item and that then seems to disable analyzing and then adding to queue.

Already noted in comments, but this is a big one for me: Downloading from multiple VIP services simultaneously.

A prior product I used (AnyStream) was able to do this, and even allowed the user to specify how many simultaneous downloads to allow (ex: 1, 2, up to 5) so the user could optimize it based on their system resources.

I also want to see a fix to the download queue to …

(1) allow analysis from a provider when a download from that provider is already in progress. Too many times you realize you wanted to queue up something else, but you have to wait for the download to finish or wait to pause the queue to add a new title.

and

(2) make PAUSE actually work to suspend and resume from where it left off. If you hover over the PAUSE button on the provider banner in the queue, it shows “Pause the task” - the implication is you can pause now and resume it later . However, when you pause the provider the active download is CANCELED. It’s not pending resumption - if you click PLAY thinking you’ll resume, it starts over from analysis > downloading > processing > reumxing. It’s not a pause - it’s a “reset”.

It’s very important that you get the current version working as it should be. I use an M3U8 provider called Bloodstream TV and it was working just fine a version or two ago. Now it downloads so quickly and everything ends with a 702 error. The few other pieces of software that I have, download it perfectly.

We’re all still waiting for the requested Sky Store support. Many people are waiting for the product to work correctly with current providers. I don’t know whether this is a QC problem, but maybe the entire service list needs to be checked for functionality before a new version is released.

I am the last one who would say NO to adding more features and abilities, I don’t think many will.

BUT YOU KEEP ASKING WHAT USERS WANT, AND THE NUMBER ONE ISSUE IS A WORKING VERSION OF STREAMFAB. FIX THE CURRENT AND PAST ISSUES REPORTED, THEN GO BACK TO ADDING NEW AND BETTER OPTIONS.
WAY TOO MANY REPORTS OF STRANGE 702 ERRORS, AMD MUCH MORE.
I KNOW THERE IS MUCH HERE IN THE COMMUNITY OF MODULES HAVING ISSUES AND I ALSO DID COMBINE SEVERAL ISSUES HERE IN THIS POST

the last version is 70001 is good except when we have a Paramount Plus 4K contract. It block the download on 540 which is not the case when you have a “standard” Paramount Plus contract… It’s crazy… - I’ve reopened the ticket as it was supposed to be fixed.
And the 70004 version is bugged with Disney Plus (Error 702) - A ticket is in progress

Despite this. Really happy about your tool which is working fine with other streaming offers.

michel.morabito Just a heads-up, in case you don’t know. iTunes can download the titles bought on Apple, then you just need to find them on your PC and unlock them. I found a software that does just that, and it wasn’t that much. At the moment, I can’t remember what it was called but you could find it in a search. Pretty sure they wouldn’t let me mention it here anyway. It’s another software company.

ur m3u8 still not fix. i already posted it since 7.0.04 update still no progress. i thought it would fix on 7.0.0.5 but no. doesn’t work.

How about fixing Paramount+ to download higher resolutions than 960 × 540? It has been that way for months.

Hello,

I would like a warning window to appear when the PC automatically shuts down after a download, so that I can cancel the shutdown. It’s happened to me several times that the PC shut down while I was at work because I forgot to change the setting back!
