C:\Users\M** B**\AppData\Roaming\DVDFab\StreamFab\

you should know what *** mean ..
.. or search in your log: rootCachePath

No, I do not have a “real” Win Machine available, that would mean buying hardware only for streamFab purposes.

I was running fine with the VM since 2+ years, but now I seem to be stuck somehow… ….can’t figure out why.

The connectivity of the Win-VM seems to be okay, as browsing the net using Microsoft Edge on the VM works as expected….

Thank you for your patience, I’m not really familiar with MS-Windows. After some searching and understanding that “AppData” is a hidden folder which I had to make visible first, I managed to rename the “cache” Folder to “cache_old”.

Then, I restarted SF and a new cache folder was created (as expected).

…same result as before: The SF Window stays white, nothing is displayed at all. :-(

MS-Edge is running inside the VM now, I logged in and it seems to be okay. StreamFab is not responding, however…

I’ve never encountered the blank tab issue for amazon myself ..
.. and for other users, it was usually the result of an SF online upgrade
(and fixed after Uninstall and Reinstall with Offline Installer)

What happens if you change the region in SF to PrimeVideo.com,
restart SF and then visit PrimeVideo.com in SF ?

As long as the browser-window in SF stays white, you cannot do anything, exept watching on a white screen… .you cant even open a Netflix window. Nothing at all…

I restarted SF, rebooted the Win11-Machine, changed the region, renamed the cache Folder…. ….same result: The SF browser screen stays white…

Press Win + I to open Settings.
Go to System > Display.
Scroll down and select Graphics.
Next, click on Change default graphics settings.
Now, you have to toggle Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling to Off position.
Restart your PC for the changes to take effect.

By default it’s above “Benutzerdefinierte Einstellungen”

If you can’t see .. the graphic driver is only a default driver (Virtual Graphic in VM?)
or it’s outdated - so I would assume that this (HAGS) is deactivated.

I assume I do not see the grahic setting due to using a VM instead of “real” hardware. So I assume the VM does not support any hardware acceleration - there is also no Monitor connected to that VM, I access it via VNC from my Mac at home…
The VM runs on a QTS NAS in a computing center near my office…
So the graphics-topic seems to be a dead end in my case. Thanks for the idea, anyway…

Weird. I was able to do downloads 4 days ago, using SF 7.0.3.8 and suddenly I encountered these Amazon-Errors when analysing the videos, Netflix still worked fine….

So I thought SF 7.0.4.0 will fix the Amazon issue, but it did not in my case - but the very reverse happend, the whole SF Installation went nuts…

Thanks for the tips.

The VM is running in Virtualization Station on a QNAP NAS (QTS).
The network connection ist ok from my point of view, as the edge-Browser works as expected (I can even access and login at amazon prime).
RAM is set to 8GB for the VM.
The Graphic ist set to “QXL”, as advised by the QNAP-Support. There are no further options for the graphics settings.
Accessing the VM using VNC works fine, the display works as expeced.
I used that configuaration the last 2 years…

SF runs as “Administrator”, I always did that to ensure full rights are availabe.

Will try to delete temp and log…

cleared cache and logs, rebooted Windows, started SF as Admin - did NOT solve the problem.

The Amazon tab stays white…. …even if I enter URLs manually, the screen stays white. ☹

Did you try the old school tricks like changing zoom/font size in Windows, or resize active window?
