when trying to download from amazon it keeps showing a pop up saying an old or unsported browser and to update

No “me too” comments required - all users in all countries are affected ..

Current Widevine CDM 4.10.3050 is required to retrieve the key ..
.. however, this has not yet been cracked by SF => see also here
For the same reason, obtaining the key also fails for many other providers.

Chrome version or not, having such an old version in SF as shown here https://forum.dvdfab.cn/d/459347-programs-under-the-hood/33 WILL NOT HELP.

It seems for some reason they hold back as long as possible from updating Chrome in StreamFab.

It really is CEF in SF, so it might be more involved in updating.

Yet Hulu goes without any mention, as well as Pluto, if they are even working on them or not.
I sometimes use Disney to get Hulu content, but now we are getting reports of Disney+ issues. 😡

I updated to 7.0.4.3 to no avail. Get the error “Failed to obtain decryption key, please contact us for assistance”.
Some would download but many would not, giving this error.

why do you think your issue is different from the Amazon issue already reported?

It appears that the “Failed to obtain decryption key, please contact us for assistance” error only affects new episodes released on or after August 7, 2026; content from before that date—including channel content—can still be analyzed and downloaded normally.

gokuairo2025 That’s incorrect. I’m trying to download a series from 2014 on Prime, AMC+ subscription, that’s been included in AMC’s lineup since at least 2024, and I’m getting multiple scattershot failures amid the downloads.

I’m getting multiple “failed to obtain the decryption key ” failures in both Prime movies (Mrs. Ratcliffe’s Revolution) and in the series “the Killing” that’s by AMC+ subscription.
I’m also getting a banner telling me that my browser is old or unsupported with download menu creation - which it isn’t.

I’m running the latest SF 7.0.4.3. using updated Chrome browser, OS Windows 10 - log attached.

OK - since posting this it appears the decryption failure is widespread. Anyone got any info on that Unsupported Browser Error 7132 banner?

I’m experiencing the exact same issue. Lately, there’s been a lot of errors with the decryption key, not just on Prime Video, but on other platforms as well, and it tends to happen with the latest movie and TV series releases.

I had the failure to acquire decryption code yesterday whilst trying to download “Thursday’s Child” (a newly added title on Prime) but have just successfully downloaded it this morning. Still getting the Outdated browser banner.
