I’ve been on 7.0.4.1 since it came out. I’ve had no issues until yesterday when I got the “You are running an old or unsupported version of the browser” message, but still had no problems. This morning, however, I’m in the same boat as everyone else with “Failed to obtain decryption key…” on the newest episodes of Stuart Fails to Save the Universe (S1E3) and Sugar (S2E8). I think previous posts pretty much indicate it’s an encryption key problem, but I wanted to post this so folks know it’s not a “version” issue.

Cant download anything and a top-bar telling me my webrowser is out-of-date. It´s time for SF to actually do some work on this software now, encryption key error all over the place on several streaming sites. 😡😡

I reverted to 7.0.4.2 and the message about “unsupported browser” is gone
All new Amazon content since today gets the “Failed to obtain the decryption key” message

scb9955 That’s interesting 7.0.4.2 only has the encryption key not found. but the unsupported browser version is gone.

I received the message “You are running an old or unsupported version of this browser.” (see attached) This occurred when trying to download “Stuart Fails to Save the Universe” from Amazon. I also received the error “Failed to obtain a decryption key”. Windows 11, V7.0.4.3

[7043] I am getting the decryption key issue with Apple+ via Amazon. The latest episodes of Silo (example) and Sugar.

I previously reported this problem and the browser issues on a different thread. Staring this thread as I have found a workaround? I was D/L on Amazon (US). A series “Crusoe” 2008 - 13 episodes. All but 2 D/L fine on version 7.0.4.3. 2 episodes failed to S/L with the error. Tried earlier version and same failure. After repeated failure, on a lark, I tried changing the video codec from H265 to H264. Both episodes downloaded and run fine. Not sure if this will help find the fix, but it may help those with the problem. I am not having the problem on any other download
