    UPDATED: Disk Manager

    Updated Feature
Disk Manager formats and helps you take care of HDD management in DVDFab Movie Server

As of v1.0.0.4, Disk Manager has been moved to Settings->System Maintenance.

Need an optimum format for a large drive for Movie Server? Here's the way- let Movie Server handle it for you! If you have a brand new drive in the cabinet, Server will mark it as 'Undetected' and you should see the screen below, asking if you would like to format it.

Please make an informed decision before clicking 'Yes', the drive will be formatted with the ext4 file system and any existing data will be erased! This is a non-reversible process, so be sure! You can manage the files from your PC using the share but Windows will no longer be able to read the drive natively.

The formatting process will now begin. Once it does, do not power off Media Server or remove the drive from the cabinet, it might be damaged.

When it completes (see below), it should ask for a reboot, please allow it so the new drive can be recognized.

After the reboot, you can check the relevant information about the drive in Settings->System Maintenance->Disk Manager (new location).

If you delayed formatting the drive when first requested, you can do it anytime from the Manager as well.
