    To the developers...

    Hi,

If I want to copy the feature film from a 3D Blu Ray and the film has lots of streams at original (for example "Wreck it Ralph" with 114 (!!!) stream files) then there will be the following problem: After burning the BD the film starts fine in real 3D (not SBS!) and then the film always stutter, the film hangs... sometimes after a few seconds the film continued and then it runs 10...20...30 seconds and the film hangs again. The problems are only, if the film has more than 2 streams (one for AVC and one for MVC).
I think, this will be a new art of copy protection...

Is it possible to implement a request at stream files (or at playlist), if there are more than 1 stream for AVC and 1 stream for MVC, that this stream files can be jointed?
For example: AVC are 7 files and MVC are 7 files then the result must be, that AVC will be 1 file and MVC will be 1 file and then it must work fine as 3D.

Or do you have another idea, how to solve this problem? I don't want to make SBS-3D.

    Thanks
    Grüße...
    Puebi

    Support for this feature request

    I support this feature request.

I started a new thread on March 29 under the title "Merger of 3D Blu-ray Seamless Branches" in the Feature Requests forum that made the same feature request to deal with seamless branch playback problems in the new Dune 3D media players.

I received support for that request from an owner of a Popcorn Hour A-400 3D media player that also has problems in playing DVDFab created isos with seamless branches.

thank you for the info. I believe, GregiBoy don't understand your (our) problem. The feature in the BD Ripper module is not, what we are looking for. With ripper mode, we will get one file, but not real 3D... I will follow your thread.

With Wreck it Ralph the side by side 3d had slight glitches in video every now and then and audio pops maybe 3 times in the movie.Something has to be done about this problem.

          That was me ,

This feature would be welcomed by owners of 3D media players as the current generation (regardless of brand) only support BD lite due to Cinavia and seamlessly branched titles cause problems with play back.

There's a free tool available called eac3to that will demux and merge seemless branched titles for 2D blu's that works very well, it would be nice if DVDFab would support this feature for 3D titles as well, it would be a feather in DVDFab's cap and it would become the "must have" piece of software for any owner of a 3D media player.

          Just my 2 pence/cents.

Any input from the Devs would be most appreciated

          Thanks

Dear Fab team the people that use and make 3d movies deserve support also. This 3d only problem has been going on about a year now with not one reply from staff even that their working on this problem.

Their are solutions from other company's that are free using 3dts muxer to take the very small ssif files and put them together into one file curing the problem of iso's full 3d studding or freeze frames during playback across many devices and media players.

We are looking for a Fab solution we don't want to go to other software to do this.We deserve support and Fab developers to look into this on going problem that's been here about a year now.More and more movies are being made this way and we believe the Fab support team can address this problem and at least let us know they are working on the problem.

For those that can't wait ts3dmuxer and a guide how to use it is on the German part of the forum with screen shots although in German a simple translator is all you need to get the know how and with the screen shots you may not even need it.Thanks to The Don Mark the German moderator for making the guide.Fab should be able to do this also and we ask For the Fab team to look into this.Thank you for your time.

                1. Please tell us what player do you use the play the backup? For now, we only have 3D compatibility problem with PS3, for other standalone player or software player, it shoud be ok.

                2. We can combine the seamless connnected m2ts files into a big one in Main Movie mode, but it need some time to implement, and the more important thing is: do we really need it? From what I know, the problem is not related to multiple m2ts files, it's in the 3d muxer, and of course we are still working on it.

I really need confirmation that Blu-ray 3D with one ssif file has no playback problem, and more than two ssif files have playback problem. I think all backup should have the problem on specific device.

fengtao: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0V...it?usp=sharing Here is the free 3d muxer please see what it does.

                    The problem:

When keeping true 3D (2 streams, AVC/MVC) rather than SBS while ripping, DVDFab leaves the original BD's huge number of m2ts files (inside the SSIF folder) which leads to stuttering, freeze frames and or audio pops on many standalones and media players, probably due to buffering issues.

                    The solution:

DVDFab should remux those files into several large m2ts

We don't have problems with one stream of ssif files. Most 3d movies are ok.Fab should be able to detect or put in a manual button for problem movies to string together files when file contains many ssif files so the result is big files not hundreds of tiny files. This should only be done when it's needed.

We have trouble with movies that have many streams or many small files some times hundreds like Wreck it ralph 3d 114 files.Cars 2 3d-Monsters university 3d,Frankenweenie 3d,Brave 3d. A lot of Disney movies are coming this way.

Please read more about this in the links provided in the post above as I am no expert on this but can tell you it's a big problem as these movies won't play on media players and computer servers like POPCORN with powerful processors and chips and some outboard players.

Some examples are Miccia EP600G2 3d media player on sale at amazon http://www.amazon.com/Micca-EP600-G2...2+media+player for $99.00(I have this one so if you want me to test a Fab solution I will be more than willing to test for you) and Hi media 3d player and many other media players also popcorn media device. Some others has reported problems on outboard players also.A lot of us have media players now because Cinavia is not a problem so i don't have any examples of outboard players but please read more on the tsmuxer forum for more information. Thanks for answering we need a Fab solution.

I forgot one thing in above post when you burn the converted 3d 25 gig disk with Fab burner this is when the outboard players have the problem with these movies with more than one stream of ssif files. The problems happens only, if the film has more than 2 streams (one for AVC and one for MVC).

Playing a 50 gig iso works fine.Converting it to 25 gigs full 3d it stutters or freeze frames sometimes audio pops.

Fengtao, I can't comment on stuttering cause my WDTV only supports SBS but since I somehow got dragged into this, I've ripped the Brave 3D main movie for a test with DVDFab and then with tsMuxeR which resulted in these files (shortened to keep it readable):

Hello, me again, I started this thread nearly one year ago...

At that time only 2 movies have had lots of SSIF-files (Merida(Brave) and Wreck it Ralph), but now nearly all 3D movies have up to 100 SSIF-files.

The problem will be if I will ripp a real 3D copy (not SBS) from main movie with Fab (newest version) for example from Merida 3D (Brave 3D), Ralph, Monster University and all the other new 3D films which have more than one SSIF-file (SSIF-file is the "virtual merged" file from m2ts-files from main movie) then the movie will stutter at all (!!!!!) Blu Ray Players. The movie will play fine at media player(s). I myself have 2 Blu Ray Samsung player and a HD900b media player.

I've now tested again Wreck it Ralph, then Merida and today Monster University (all in 3D) to create a real 3D copy (with DVDFab) of the main movie and all films will stutter or stop playing. All this movies will have lots of m2ts-files of main movie and so they will also have lots of SSIF-files!

Then I tested it at another way:
                            1. make an complete ISO with Passkey (or DVDFab)
                            2. check with BD-Info, which playlist file will be correct for the main-movie
                            3. start 3D TsMuxer and choose this playlist file to create an ISO of main movie.
The result: An uncompressed ISO from main movie and all m2ts files has been merged. You will only find 2 m2ts files (1 for mvc + 1 for avc) and in the SSIF folder you will find only ONE SSIF file. Then you can make a real 3D copy to 25GB BD with DVDFab and I don't know one player which will have problems to play this correctly.

In the German board I read from lots of other users that they don't have problems with their Blu Ray Player if they merged the m2ts files with 3d TsMuxer. But they all have had problems with the same movies if they made the copy only with DVDFab because all BR-Player will have problems to play copies with lots of m2ts files.

So, Fengtao, please insert a routine that Fab also merge this m2ts files in one step.

I also read in German board that lots of future users will wait to buy DVDFab till this problem will be solved.

greetings from Germany and please excuse my bad English
                            Grüße...

For explanation, so that you don't missunderstand: If you make an uncompressed (complete 50GB) ISO from a movie with lots of m2ts-files the movie will play fine at media player and Blu Ray player, but the same movie as compressed 25GB copy from main movie will not run correctly at Blu Ray player and also not at media player. The movie will stutter and I have 2 different Samsung Blu Ray player and also one media player and the stuttering will be at all.
