See if the file will play on your PC with VLC Media Player or DVDFab Media Player, both currently free.

It may also be a conversion setting in Video Coverter. Try a different conversion profile.

Just received my player. Audio/Calender works fine, but I downloaded some video (using VideoConverter to DVDFab player in DVDFab) but the video won't play. the screen shows a timeline but the end time always shows 00:00:00 and it won't play. The video is an MP4 format.

If I exit and then go back into video, it asks if I want to "play from breakpoint" but again the screen is blank.

Is there some configuration I'm missing?

    Thanks,
    Chris

I've had success also. Sandisk Class 4 in my case.

Sorry, my first one is this version also (no timekeeping), no way to change it that I know of. It may also be a hardware problem, something on the PCB.

Re-read the early posts in the thread. I have been using a 32GB SDHC for some time. It is full!

    Blue light on!
Nothing else works and computer sees the device as unknown and cant do anything with it.

As far as I know there is no hardware reset available, short of removing the battery for an extended period. I have done a teardown of one from one of the earlier shipments and there was nothing on the PCB to reset. You may need to contact the service team in Beijing to see about exchanging the one you have. There is a setting that forces it to reload all defaults, but if the screen or video output is not available it does not help.

    Thanks signals,
Tried your suggestion with AV out to TV but no luck. Just blue light on unit and nothing displayed on TV. Is it possible to check with manufacturers for hardware reset. ie. Pressing a combination of buttons to reset player?

Try using the A/V out cable and connecting it to a TV or monitor. You may have accidentlly set it to an output mode other than "LCD", which will produce the effect you are seeing. Hope it is not a problem with the display.

Hi, Got my player last week. Seemed OK but as of a couple of days ago I also get no display when switching on. Just the blue light. I have made sure to fully charge and I have removed and replaced battery but no display, just blue light.
Any ideas? Is there maybe a combination of button pressing that can reset the unit to default settings?
