Sony Will not read BD disks.

I an no expert on this, but i have not had any BD's fail to play on my own stand alone BD player.

I am a great believer in burning slow having tried and tested this on many DVd's, try burning at 2X-4X.

Hello Kenbra, with your Sony blu-ray player, you can go to Sony's web site and see if you have any updates for your player! There was an update for my blu-ray player a while back that updated it to be able to play recorded blu-ray disc! I have a BDP-S1, it will now play any type's BD-R, ect. ect. Hope this is helpfull!

I use image burn for BD's and generally Nero Recode for DVD's.

You're not selecting the correct burn speed for your blank media

Click on the ImgBurn link in my signature for instructions on how to do this, it has lots of pictures to simplify things. Try setting it for 4x with the media you have = Disc ID: RITEK-BR2-000

Every time you buy a new spindle of blank media you need to make sure it's set properly, hope this helps.

                    2. Select ImgBurn Burn Engine
                    3. Select Recommended Write Speed [only for use with ImgBurn Auto Write Speed]
                    4. Select OK and restart DVDFab to apply the changed settings
You may also want to review the settings in ImgBurn here and be certain to set up the AWS

Your logs say that you were burning a SL Blu-Ray disc.
