I just burned another one and chose only the main title with the same results.
I noticed in the image burn log that the book-type is n/a. It should read dvd+r right?
I tried to change it like MAINEMAN said but, it says INVAILID COMMAND OPERATION CODE.

Plextor came with a software utilites disc and I tried that. There is nothing there that lets me set the drive to dvd+r media. Anyone familiar with Plextor Drives? I have model# PX-870A

I was burning discs just fine yesterday with no problems. This has got me stumped....

What is the brand and model number of your stand alone dvd player?

Also this is most likely your problem provided your player supports the media your using, from the ImgBurn log
      I 12:38:35 Write Speed: MAX
Watch Troy512's video again on how to set up ImgBurn to work with Fab and to set the AWS (automatic Write Speed).

The big question to ask is "WHAT HAS CHANGED?" since then.

        And I mean analyse EVERYTHING.

What has changed? Let see.... I upgraded to the current version of DVD FAB and I updated the FIRMWARE on my PLEXTOR Drive..... I read through the dvd burning problems on the DVD FAB site and it says to keep your firmware up-to-date. so... thats what I did and thats all that has changed.....

I have been using the same junk media TDK or Philips which has the same id# CMC...LOL for over 4 years now with never any problems until today.....

I have an older external burner(USB) a MEMOREX DVD+/-RAM 510L and I wanted to give that a shot. so what I did was burnt about 10mins of the movie then had the software finalize the disc.... and I put it in my stand alone player and it worked.... so it looks like something has changed with the Plextor drive..... Can someone that has a Plextor Drive give me a helping hand? Thanks!

Do you have the install program of the previous version of Fab that you were running?

Do you have the install program for the previous version of driver firmware?

It may be worth trying a rollback.

So you flashed the firmware in the plextor?
                      When?
Before or after the "unsupported disc" problem arose?

Can you roll back to the previous version of firmware on the Plextor?

It may be that the Plextor drive is dying also !!!

You certainly have identified the Plextor as the problem child by your last test with the external USB.

I'm like pretty sure but not positive... that MAINEMAN.. has had the solution all along...
I think it has to do with setting the BOOK-TYPE to ROM on the PLEXTOR..... but I can't figure out how to do that..... I tried what he said earlier.... but it will only give me an INVALID COMMAND OPERATION CODE...... any more help guys? Is it not normal where you cant set the book-type directly on your drive to ROM?

This puppy has a mediatek chipset.
While I've never owned a plextor, my understanding is that Plextor stopped manufacturing their own drives.
I'm pretty sure this is a rebadged LiteOn drive.

Anyway, mediatek chipsets have always been very forgiving...hope this oone is too.
You should be able to flash this thing 'til the cows come home.

                                I agree with GregiBoy...
the easiest way out of this is to reflash backward to the older firmware.
