Hi newey
It seems that you are not the only member having this problem.
The logs that DarthCopier is referring to can be found in this location:
For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal and Burn log(s) and post right here.
I don't know if this may help but Open Fab Click the Green √ top right > to open Common Settings > DVD Copy > and make sure that DVD Output Type is set to DVD Writer.

So I have to cancel and access the temp folder in DVDfab to write the movie.
Any other suggestions.
Thank you

Sorry..I'm not CBR929, but I do have a question or two that we'll both need answered before we can offer any real help...
1.) What is the blank media you're using that your drive refuses to acknowledge?
2.) What are the details about your write drive? (a vso burn.log - one of an actual burn - rather than the 9-11 line log that gets submitted all the time as a burn log, will answer both questions)...
3.) Is DMA set on your system? (know how to do it??)
There are plenty of posts here to tell you where to find the burn logs... a quick check will show you where...

I am not sure. Give the suggestions a try, ImgBurn is a far better burn engine.

Hi newey
Some times the VSO burn engine causes trouble for some, so may I suggest using ImgBurn as your burn engine.
You will find it here with a tutorial on setting it up with Fab, the You tube video is no longer available but if you take your time in setting it up I'm sure you can do it.
Remember to set up the AWS in ImgBurn and set your burn speed to 1/2 the rated speed of the media you are using.

No Media detected
Blu Ray and DVD copy, the blank media is not being detected.
I can back up the movie by copying from the temp folder to the drive after shutting down and restarting DVDFAB, but when I read from the E drive and then insert blank media into the E drive, it won't detect the media.
Any suggestions.
