New to ripping and encoding and need some help

Ok, so just to confirm, I need to buy:

Blu-Ray Copy @ $60
Blu-Ray Ripper @ $60

so for $120 that will take care of everything I need? I plan on purchasing this evening and just need to make sure. Oh and thanks to each of you for some extremely helpful assistance.

If you will also be doing DVDs you would also need to purchase DVD Copy and also DVD Ripper.
If your movies are not very new you could use the Free HD Decrypter for DVDs and Blu-rays, just rip to your HDD per the steps I had posted before and use the ripper function to convert you files.
