    ImgBurn

Been trying to increase filler buffer(40mb) in imgburn, I have set it to 385mb, but won't sticked! I've tryed to restart pc after setting to 385mb, tryed to shut down then restart, Tryed Log off and shutdown after setting filler buffer and still won't stick! Everytime it shows 385mb, but reverts back to 40mb when start burning backed-up's Should I un-install ImgBurn and re-install, then try setting filler buffer(40), I've been to ImgBurn fourm, but just states basic settings and how to set!

How about if you set it to 512MB?

          Hi 8855A
Their are two settings for your buffer.
Which ones are you trying to change?
Under Build page 2 to the right change it here first.
Under I/O page 2 to the left change here.
Click OK and you should be all set.
          Hope this helped

CBR929, thanks alot! I had forgott'en page 2 under I/O! Once again thanks for your help! As MARTYTHEBRIT suggested to set at 512mb, what would that do and what is the buffer for anyway? I know what it does if its set to low!

              Hi 8855A
              Your welcome
Your setting of 385 is fine, no need to go any higher.
I believe it stores the data before it is going to write, so that the drive is not burning up all the information from the HDD if burning a fast speeds.
