I'm sorry for this defect, in fact, in the past the problem you siad was happen on our testing environment.
But it just like craigb said, if you reboot the issue gone. No reprot and no internal.log. It is very difficult to reproduce.
So we will check the code deeply.

Thank you, I just tried it again and it is still the same, on installing 8200 my whole DVD Fab crashes, then installing 8198 or 8199beta all is okay again.

What do you mean about reboot?

Do you mean download and instal 8200 and after it crashes my DVD Fab, leave everything as is and just restart my computer?

I just went to try that and guess what, it installed okay.

I mean without restarting/rebooting, 8200QT installed properly.

After reading this thread I just recalled that when I first tried to install this version it hung right at the end. Cancelled it, reinstalled previous version OK(DVDFab wouldn't work at this stage) then reattempted install of 8200 and all went OK and no further problems.

NO problem, just for info, now downloaded and installed 8201beta with NO trouble at all.
