This Notice is to alert you that the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) Holiday is underway in China and much of Asia and for this reason the DVDFab Office will be closed until February 4. During this period, support by chat and email will not be available but the forum will be here for any problems you may encounter. Purchases of new products and license renewals may be made normally on the DVDFab website. Thanks for your understanding and Happy New Year!
I have lifetime key to all features, been getting bsod on start up since updated to 9.0.2.0. Been looking at the forums for solution. I tried CCJ's suggestion, uninstalled DVDFab 9, cleaned registry.
I then ran 9.0.2.2 installer as administrator. Got the "restart" prompt ... so far so good.
Still got the long pause on start-up and then the crash to bsod. Even if I do all that and go back to an earlier version that used to work, I now get the crash. Getting VERY frustrated at this point. Would really like to see admin interest at this point.
If it makes a difference, I attached the log for the latest 9.0.2.2 install.
Hi texmek654
Make sure that you have an internet connection when using version 9 and that your anti virus or firewall is not blocking it.
After uninstall and cleaning the registry download a fresh installer from here then reinstall as administrator.
Also make sure that your drivers are up to date for your graphics card.
Hope this helps

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.
Thank you CBR929, will give it a try this evening after work ... fingers crossed.
Did everything suggested, sadly, I still go to bsod on start-up after about 30 to 45 seconds. I even tried it with firewall, antivirus and user account control all turned off with no difference in results. I've attached my log and it looks like the program had almost started. Close but no cigar.
According to the AMD site I do have most recent drivers (ver. 13.1). I re-installed them just to be sure there wasn't any problem. No errors in install for video drivers.
I just discovered there was a beta driver released yesterday (1-31-13) (ver. 13-2 beta4), I'll try installing it and see what happens. Nothing ventured, nothing gained at this point.
