    dvd ripper no sound

Video is ok, but there is no audio. Using dvdFab version 8.2.2.6 on Windows 7 64-bit. It does Men in Black 3 in MPEG2 format. Other software does not have that problem. Why should I spend $75.00 (or whatever it was) for something that I can't use? I want my money back!

    Rubbish.

Fab works so you must be doing something wrong. If you want help, ask for it.

Also, you had a 30 day free trial to iron out any procedural problems so don't come crying here..

Well, I didn't post for my health Why doesn't it work? I've tried changing the format type but when I do it erases everything from the Source box, acting as if the dvd drive is empty. The Blue-Ray ripper works as expected, just can't get dvd ripper to work right.

The mp3 audio you've selected is not widely supported natively. You might try an AAC stream or find the mp3 codec for your playback device. mp3 audio will not play in iTunes or Windows Media Player natively.

I have both Xbox 360 and PS3 devices. Other software uses AC3 format, which works ok with my devices. The only option available on DVDFab is MPEG2, which has no sound. How do I get DVDFab to use the same or similar format as Other software? (BTW: You might have guessed I know next to nothing about video formats.)

Try the mp4.h264.ac3 profile if your devices play ac3 audio.

The reason I mentioned it was because theirs works and your doesn't. But I guess you can't stand the competition

Competition is a fine thing, but this forum is provided by DVDFab to discuss their software. Check the attitude or your stay with us will be a short one.
