When is DVDFab 8 going to be phased out?

Figured it's going to happen as I doubt DVDFab is going to keep developing two different versions. Was just curious as to when updates are going to stop for version 8.

Well it's been over a Month since Ver 8 has been updated.

and Ver 9 has been updated more.

so it looks like the beginning of the END for Ver 8.

I hope not as I am staying with 8 for as long as possible.

Personally I don't care as I'm using v9 and it's fine as far as I'm concerned. I've already un-installed v8. I was just curious as I don't see DVDFab continue supporting 2 versions.

I imagine V8 will be phased out once v9 is fully implemented. Right now v8 only gets updated for decryption updates, that is why v9 gets updated more often. V9 is still in development and gets updated as features get implemented.

                    David,

I don't think they even know themselves.

I am not stressed, just would really like to know?

I am sticking with 8 for now, partly because there still seems to be a lot of teething troubles with 9, also I would much prefer as with 8 not having to be on line when I use DVDFab, I have found over the years I have much better luck creating DVDs if I am off line while making them.

Maybe download both of them & alternate? Just an opinion.

There is no difference between the two versions really as far as what they do. But it comes down to preference. I can see ver 8 being phased out eventually and over time we will all get use to ver 9. Well if you still want to use fab then you probably will not have much choice. Also I can't see it being very economical to the fab team to keep both going.

I could do that, I still have 6,7 and 8 on my computer now.

Would someone from DVDFab just confirm that IF I did that, and registered 9 etc I would still be able to use 8 without going on line?

                              Thank you.........
